And what is the deal with the "hidden top-down" games? (Example: Hidden Harbor 2 Top-Down 3D on Steam ) Why are they priced like that? What is the point? (other than boost your account value on SteamDB?)
I think they do this to boost levels on websites similar to steamgifts.com 🤷‍♂️
Sometimes I get irritated by the need to add similar giveaways to my own blacklist because they appear too often. 🤭

Hmm, yeah seems likely. Who is behind such a scheme?
Sometimes I get annoyed by adding similar giveaways to my own blacklist because similar variations appear too often. 🤭
Hehe. Well, hope you didn't blacklist me :) I of'coz just had to try this by donating one of those games...

No, I don't ban people, I just hide a specific game so it doesn't show up in my giveaway list anymore.

Well, I suspect that moderators still devalue the real worth of such giveaways sooner or later... So, it has quite a temporary effect.

wise from them, it's not like Rockstar didn't have enough funds to teach them a lesson.

Also considering the financial situation for where they are from it would be probably a way to ruin their lives.
and not because they're from brazil that they're poor and dumb, they're prob even using a "ghost company"
ps: althought most people earn the minimum there are a lot of rich as smartpeople, or even some poor people that want to get money by pulling someone leg, and yes there is also good people, and yes USD cost 5x times our currency, so it would " cost a lot", and yes if it is someone "common" and "dumb" it will ruin their lives

not like it is something good, but if u want to " have somebody on/pull a fast one on someone " u just need one brazilian XD, in brazil there is always someone trying to do it better than the other( hardmode).

if i remember right there was a brazilian that stealed like a lot of money internationally and dindt get caught XD

rockstar can only sue them, if they find them =)

IF mood = THEN barter.vg rant

What the hell is wrong with these people?! I thought nothing could frustrate me anymore at barter.vg. Well, I was wrong.

I decided to get The Final Station, the game I thought buying long time ago, through bartering. There are over 200 people with that game for trade and it's quite cheap (1,40 € according to gg.deals). So, I offered a trade to half a dozen of people - the games from their wishlist in exchange for that one. Some of those people have barely 10 or 20 games to trade and... every last of them rejected the deal?! Wtf! Why do you even have a wishlist if you don't want the games from that list?! Or why do you even pretend you're a trader if you don't want games from your wishlist?!

Wtf is wrong with human logic? Or, more precisely, what is with the lack of their logic?

END barter.vg rant
Without seeing what you sent, I can't help :p
Some people can't accept they're wrong. I think most of those could be explained through the Dunning-Kruger effect: the more stupid they are, the more confident they are.
YES

What do people do with all their Deponia and Syberia keys? 🤷‍♂️ I am thinking of making Steam accounts for the youngest children, and starting off their collection? (But quite a pain to manage so many Steam accounts, we'll see)
You gotta find true newbies through various groups which can be.. tedeous :p Or just trade them for any cheap game you might not have

In a few words, it's actually a neat trick for giveaway level gathering that fools try. Yes, on account value too, along with probably money laundering and on purpose showing you "worth" something. Similar to the fckton of sh.it godfather adds. Just something nobody will buy UNLESS from a ga.. So they create secondary revenue. In a few words

Yeah, I don't have the patience for that. I might have to go with the kids accounts, even if it's little work to setup.

Aha, money laundering! That's an interesting proposition, hadn't thought of that.

I'd like to thank RETRO for the raffle and the Patch Quest key. I'll try to start playing this game asap (probably next week, when i have more time) and write a short review here about my experience with it!
By the way, I played it. It's actually quite a fun roguelike/metroidvania game to pass the time. :)

I just redeem it on my extra accounts for cards.
It has countless new people that could use such a key. Card farming is tricky in my book
Nothing spectacular but I didn't ask for anything spectacular either. But the point is I offered them their wishlist games. Btw. another "Julie'", "Lilly's" or whatever is her real name is banned/blacklisted on barter.
That's why I asked you. Also, wishlist in barter doesn't mean much for some people as I can list many reasons why something is in someone's wl without actually being a wl game

But for anything "lilly" like trust me it's only trash for gems or ggdeals only.. *vomits*
