I believe there's a special place in hell for removed game scalpers.
Now I'm ot much for blaspheming (for obvious reasons), but that one made me laugh

I do have to add that i don't agree with the delisted prices at all...its completely unrealistic and total greed.
Trading is hard work, not a hobby. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
I left it and I haven't looked back. Stress and time better spent elsewhere.
This I completely agree with, although I've seen alot of people who just enjoy it...I personally know it would be work to me, work I have nearly no interest in doing for the same reason you stopped doing it honestly--but to each their own.

I've seen alot of people who just enjoy it
I spent years doing this only to realize that I had so many games never even touched
People around me were dying due to age and illness and faced with mortality I shifted priorities.

What's the proverb? Beware the man amassing riches because tonight they come for his soul?

Hoarding is almost a primal instinct, whether its games, collectibles, tools, shoes ...
but can you use them all? wear them all? enjoy them all?

Yes, I'm throwing myself under the bus. I do enjoy entering giveaways here, on occasion.

But ask yourself: Will you play it? How much of your wins have you played?

Life is short.
Every minute you spend doing something is a minute less for something else.

Amassing a fortune is meaningless if you can't actually use it.

Haha. Samsung Magician just updated to version 7.5 (I've been avoiding updates due to the app freezing), then as soon as the program loaded it said version 8.0 was available 🤔 I'm officially afraid...again

EDIT:

Then it updated to 8.1 🙄😂

I deleted this program long time ago, Is there any major update? I think I don't need this program for the moment.
ME
does the fish poop ?

Copilot
Yes
, fish do indeed excrete waste, including feces. Just like any other living organism, fish consume food, digest it, and eliminate waste products. Their excretion process involves releasing ammonia and other nitrogenous compounds into the water through their gills and urine. So, next time you’re near an aquarium, remember that even those graceful fish are not immune to nature’s call! 🐟💩

Lol I can confirm this. Have 4 red fishes, if I don't clean it for days
I can find the water full of poo🤣
So, it's an Italian comic book. It's set in 1950s. Mister No (not his real name but nobody knows his name although there are some episodes when we learn it) is an American ex-military pilot, fresh back from WWII, lives in Manaus and has a small Piper aeroplane. He's transporting tourists, goods or whoever can pay him. Obviously, he often finds himself in all kinds of troubles - poachers, smugglers... Or even more exotic adventures where he's transporting archaeological or scientific teams dealing with mysteries like in Indiana Jones movies - ancient civilizations, lost alien spaceship, etc.

I remember this comic but I never read it, speaking of Italian comics I liked Dylan Dog and Diabolik sometimes.

Well done!👍🙂 Thanks
Wow...I just played Street Fighter 1, the original...which I remember having a (terrible) version of on DOS...it still sucks, but it looks alot better in 4K to my surprise

Ryu vs "Joe" hahaha. (original guile?)
I played the arcade cabinet, long time ago then I played with emulator, it was pretty raw fighting game but it was the first one. For the time it was good game. Sf2 instead still holds well today. Ahah Joe kind of Guile 😆
@burningpixel82 the low kick trick no longer works in Street Fighter V

Although it did help me survive my first story mode (using ken actually) while I got used to the new special moves heh.
Haven't tried it in SFV but it worked more in Sf2. This worked very good Vs Balrog (the boxer) he was pretty weak when kicked low. Fun fact: Balrog (boxer) in Japan is named Mike Bison and Vega is named Balrog😆

Not for me. I'm not trading for profit. I simply exchange games I have for those I want. And I don't have a problem with resellers. I can make a deal with them far easier than "normal" trader - which are anything but "normal". The guys with 10 or 20 keys worth 1€ or 2€ each outright refusing the games they claim they want?! No, sorry. I'll never consider that normal.

Dylan Dog is another of my favourites. They're both from the same publisher - Bonelli.

Out of morbid curiosity I dug up your trade offers.

I only found 5 attempts to trade for final station.

Wallberg owns everything you offered already. As for why they're on his wishlist, i presume for card farming (he runs a card set bot, selling for keys). The value of cards obtained even at 2:1 is of too little value in his mind for TFS. Grey market has no meaning in this case.

CHOKOMA and SaiNT have nearly 90% decline rates. I can't see a pattern to why they accept what they do. As a completely wild guess, dungeons has an abysmal H:W ratio nearly 10x worse than TFS. For heileen, its base price is 1/3 that of station, and it could be that the individual views humble keys as far more valuable than indiegala sourced freebies.

I can't get a read on Lon, but again, 90% decline rate. My guess is similar to before; Humble purchased key cost more than a fanatical sourced one. Grey market irrelevant, it's about what they paid for it at the time.

Ishmael probably declined for the terrible H:W ratio, almost 10x worse again. 95% decline rate to boot.

So in summary:
1. You picked people with astronomical decline rates and expected them to accept
2. You assume they care about grey value, which they didn't
3. You offered extremely common and cheap items in exchange, when you may have been able to make more appealing offers
4. You didn't make any attempt to clarify why they declined or what they wanted via the message box feature
5. You didn't make offers to any of the 136 other people with copies for trade

Trading is a puzzle, and requires you to profile the recipient before you offer.
You cannot enforce your values on the other person.
Unless you can approach this purely objectively and remove all of your emotion, trading will be a source of endless frustration.

Of course, all of this is IHMO.
I hope you do not take offense to this, since your response was clearly impassioned.
I took the time to write this because I used to be in your shoes when I started, until I figured out how to play the game. Traders must learn to never take anything personally - thick skin is mandatory. Otherwise, they won't last long.

2. I presumed they want the games they put on their wishlist - call me an idiot, but to me, that's common sense
3. Some of the games I offered were more expensive than what I asked for, some were not. I don't care for cent-by-cent equal value. We're talking about a laughable 1,40€. Also, see No. 2.
4. What's the point? They are traders that don't want to trade. I'm not a shrink to cure their mental problems.
5. I didn't offer to others because I didn't have anything from their wishlists. Simple. Also, some of those people set their accounts so that you can only offer them wishlist games.

Very well said. But you still have to be a little more disillusioned with humanity.
I made it a habit not to expect anything special from the trade offеrs, and every time I am not refused, it comes as a pleasant surprise, and not the other way around when I expect something and then get upset if it doesn't work out. Well, also in my case I (mostly) have nothing but indiegala, so I can't offer anything unique, but I don't carry every single key like some kind of treasure, so if i throw them in bunches, it can break through any obstacle. Some prices just don't say anything, if someone sells something for a certain price, it doesn't mean that someone will buy it from him for that price.
Put in the ignored list everyone who you don't like in any way - they often refuse, a stupid wishlist, send strange proposals, take a long time with answers, what can I say, there are too many letters E in the nickname or the color of the avatar is too bright - all of them in the oven. You don't like them already, why put up with it? And without all this and them, the process will go much more smoothly. Well, maybe at some point people will run out, but this is not a problem, new ones will appear. I only look at it this way and the process brings only pleasure. Well, sure, sometimes there are funny situations when I add something very cheap and very common and I can't get it, but as in all fishing, you can come back with nothing and only have boots full of water.

Wishlist does NOT mean want list. Wishlist is "if the offer is right" list.
Don't forget random reasons that a game can be in someone wl. "Show"/support for a dev/friend, being the next trend (any AAA or big indie will do), giveaway tasks, "add to wl to check later and forget about it" and a fckton of more random reasons
That said... the power users of the site, with thousands of trades, are for profit.
They reject your offer because they don't want fair, they want 1.5-2x return.
Depends on what you mean with power user. Not all "power users" are resellers
I understand what you want to tell him and yeah, you have a point, but I'm correcting this for something more "advanced" due to lack of better words at the moment (too sleepy, just woke up)
Trading is hard work, not a hobby. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Yes and no.
The yes is clear enough.
The no goes to the fact that it has a pretty large number of users trading for just something to play or because they don't know what do with their leftovers so pretty much all offers are wild cards there, no idea of the outcome
I spent years doing this only to realize that I had so many games never even touched
People around me were dying due to age and illness and faced with mortality I shifted priorities.

This is a truly HUGE conversation. Depending on one's personal likings, personallity, hobbies and life situation this varries for trading/gaming (and ANY other activity) to a huge degree.. I won't write a book about it nor an essay to sum up some of the points but my moto is more like "grab them while you are still able" [without of course having an impact on something more significant].
Out of morbid curiosity I dug up your trade offers.

I was curious too but I didn't had the time to do what you did so thanks for the info.
5/136 is waaaaaaaaay too low

My guess is he went to "big numbers"as it seems easier they accept "crap". Which is partially true but not always
2. I presumed they want the games they put on their wishlist - call me an idiot, but to me, that's common sense
Yes buuuut no.. For the same reasons I listed above and a fckton more
4. What's the point? They are traders that don't want to trade. I'm not a shrink to cure their mental problems.
Some have ego issues, some want x10 profit, some are plain stupid, some are alts, some some some.. It doesn't matter. Skip them if/when you see it
5. I didn't offer to others because I didn't have anything from their wishlists. Simple. Also, some of those people set their accounts so that you can only offer them wishlist games.
For the second part ok. For the first part FCK NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Send an offer. Heck if you feel "embaraced" leave a not along the lines of "I'm expressing interest in this, counter me for something you might want as I can't fathom what you might want".
Most have no freaking clue about what games exist on steam and most won't wl common games or stuff they already know very well but haven't gotten for whatever reason
I personally believe that there should be a separate place in hell for such people. I'm not writing you those wishlists, so take what you asked for!
Answered twice over this above. I'm tagging you to see it :p

IF mood = THEN barter.vg rant

What the hell is wrong with these people?! I thought nothing could frustrate me anymore at barter.vg. Well, I was wrong.

I decided to get The Final Station, the game I thought buying long time ago, through bartering. There are over 200 people with that game for trade and it's quite cheap (1,40 € according to gg.deals). So, I offered a trade to half a dozen of people - the games from their wishlist in exchange for that one. Some of those people have barely 10 or 20 games to trade and... every last of them rejected the deal?! Wtf! Why do you even have a wishlist if you don't want the games from that list?! Or why do you even pretend you're a trader if you don't want games from your wishlist?!

Wtf is wrong with human logic? Or, more precisely, what is with the lack of their logic?

END barter.vg rant
In the majority of cases if they have thousands of games listed for trade it will be hard to deal with them in general and I think some people have expectations too big for some games, e.g. game is listed on a shop for 1$ they might want a lot more or value them way more than they worth.

Honestly, it's a lot to cover in this subject

I enjoy the giveaways...even if I'm the one giving 🤷‍♂️

Will I ever play all the games I've gotten, likely not.
Will I ever play all the free games I've added, certainly not.
Will every game I've given be played, nope.

Will I ever look at my steam library again and say damn, I've got nothing to play. Nope...and being broke as fuck usually, thats a security I never had in my console days.

Now I'm obviously not one for hording keys or trading, even now I only have an HB list of games I'm not sure if I'll enjoy and I'm too lazy to dig through entirely

But since I could never afford to keep my library ahead of my playtime, its honestly a breath of fresh air to look at it and not even know which game to play, rather than look at it on say my PS3 and wonder if I should re-play a game again because I can't find or afford a new one.

So as much as I agree with you about being greedy, its not my style...I also don't feel its a bad thing to build up my library with games of all types I never would have in other circumstances--so long as I'm giving back what I take.

I see it differently than most people, but thats also why my conscience allows me to do it, I'm not being greedy, I'm giving back what I take and just mixing up my personal selection. Honestly i'm probably losing in the end, but I enjoy the forum and the sharing, thats more of my hobby than collecting keys or games ;)

I'm old myself, so mortality is always knocking...if I just wanted to be rich I would have better luck with a career as a programmer lol.

Of course they're red :ROFLMAO:

But yep, thats the drill.

I might have have a DOS remake, maybe not even real looking at the cabinet version honestly...but it was almost exact as far as shitty button input and gameplay, so someone did a really good job.

I also played this after SF2 which I agree is a much better game obviously.
Haven't tried it in SFV but it worked more in Sf2. This worked very good Vs Balrog (the boxer) he was pretty weak when kicked low. Fun fact: Balrog (boxer) in Japan is named Mike Bison and Vega is named Balrog😆
Mike Tyson

I was actually aware of Balrog, I didn't know about Vega lol.

For me, aside from SFV which is actually pretty fun, I had give away before, this one sold me the HB bundle...along with the other non SF games in the capcom arcades like Final Fight, Megaman Fighter, and a few other classics I'll never see again.

That ones a nice addition, I just wish I had thought to add some of them to my secondary steam for MP here. I know where Ultra SFIV is going now
