Its a drink coaster technically, but its unique because it was hand made by some lady, picked it up during a trip. Had a pocket on the other side I'm stumped what the purpose for it is :LOL:

I actually just bought the elevated one because its meant to help carpal tunnel which makes it look like its on the side, its technically on the top at a tilt intentionally.

in a general sense of any like that, you use your thumb to move the mouse...I've been using the same brand and same model since I was about 12yrs old, this one is the first change in a long time and the tilt actually helps alot with the pain.

but.. is it comfy?
I understand that it helps with the pain, positioning etc.. But if someone is ok, is it easier than a normal mouse? Just thinking of it makes my thumb hurt and my brain finds it too complicated (like trackballs on laptops, archaic laptops that had that tiny thing in the middle of the keyboard before the touchpad)

No need to move your wrist, so its good for sitting next to a keyboard on a desks KB tray. I can't speak for gaming obviously.

Depends on the mouse, accuracy is much better on wired versions of this type tbh, but I know exactly what you mean because now I could never use a real mouse.

Its easier if your using it on a real desk with a keyboard tray pulled in front of you for the space not slamming your KB or something, its great for programming and such.

I've been using these since before I was fucked up and I could never switch back, but at first it takes some serious getting used to...but then its fucking great IMO.

I barely use my keyboard these days and I still hate my mouse sliding all over so much I would never even try to use another kind lol.

No no no no, this you roll with your thumb as if you were moving your mouse the same way (they have a ball underneath), laptop mice are fucking nightmares...and the buttons on top take away that stupidity design :LOL:

You may not like it even if you try it, but comparing it to those horrible things just ain't right lmao. I still use it WITH my laptop :ROFLMAO:

Actually it might be...but if thats the case I think it would burn and the pocket is way too small. I honestly think the pocket is to put a wooden drink coaster inside of it to avoid damage under it and its just for design.

EDIT:

Forgot I HAD a wooden coaster, tested the theory and thats exactly what its for :ROFLMAO:

Second...that mouse is almost brand new, just came out with the tilt style the last few years too...now my wired one was OLD lol.

If you meant the mousepad or the cup holder thing Idk but they're not that old.

Old is my keyboard with a PS/1 style plug, or my controller with that windows doesn't even recognize anymore with an analog stick you screwed into the d-pad :LOL:

I'm old but that mouse isn't nearly my age lmao.

EDIT:

Just realized you might have meant the phrase on it...thats from the Hannibal movies.
