I hope you understand that this is not a definition at all. Because someone had to make the list, and different people have different opinions about it! Visit r/SteamDeck - the arguments "is a SteamDeck a console or PC" keep re-appearing every week. Exactly because of what I told you - there is no strict definitions. Is Mac a PC? Is mini-PC on arm64 architecture a PC? Is xbox on x86 architecture a console?
Sure, there are things that most people agree about, so there are cases where you can say "everyone is agree, that device A is a console, and device B is a PC". But for every A and B there is also C,D,E and F where there NO consensus.
And your example is just outright wrong - of course if you will ask for a PC - they will give you something that is commonly viewed as a PC. But if you will come and point at something borderline, like said SteamDeck, and ask "what is this, a PC or console?" - half of sellers will say "definitely a PC!" and half will say "definitely a console!".
No thanks but I'm not willing to read ppl debating on reddit about what is this and what is that. Everyone has different view about things and everything can be relative.

Also first Ps3 "fat" models (20gb and 60gb) had backward compatibility to play ps1 and ps2 games then they removed it. It's always a money matter hehe.
The last one I bought was the old model, intending to just use it to store all my PSN games...figured if it was just going to collect dust most of the time i might as well get the backward compatible version. I also had almost an entire system worth of spare parts for it so that was useful heh.
Congrats for trying to make the emulator! I wouldn't even know how to start.
Neither did I to be honest, and since I found the memory issue when I started reading into how to do it, I ended up giving up before I started. I had no idea about how to add custom chipsets and such at the time...and I still wouldn't have the tech required to do it even if i did.

You almost never start making a program knowing how to do everything involved in it...whenever I did I was usually just reinventing the wheel for my own use to add features I wanted. If your creating something new you never know exactly what your going to need to use for code and emulators are particularly difficult because you need to find some form of documentation that explains how they ran on a console...not something the companies liked to share obviously and even other programmers didn't want to explain how things worked in open source back then, it was a much more guarded time for code than it is these days because everyone ripped off any good idea or people were trying to make a buck.

Even back then I was releasing fully commented open source code for anything that wasn't system security based like encryption--probably explains why I'm still poor :ROFLMAO:

I bought that game from the gray market years ago for around 2 dollars. In order to play it, it was necessary to install "Games for Windows - LIVE". Do you know a way to play it without installing it?

Note: I had custom artwork on that game like all other games don't have a grid artwork as far as I can find a good one.
I never had an issue with it myself ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ have you tried it recently? Maybe it updated.

EDIT:

I got my copy from Newegg, so idk what region key I have either, the company is US based generally, although I've given the keys to a few other regions before...idk if it would be the same as wherever the market copies likely came from.

Sure. But it all depends on what you are going to do there. If you need the maximum area to collect dust in the room, then yes, they are not equivalent. If there was something to do, there were options :) Study! Program! Create! Explore!

Btw, guys (and girls)...does anyone seen some keys for this one?
I wasn't fast enough to get it as a free license right before it got delisted, so now I'm kinda searching for it.
Can be a gift, or a trade, maybe the key purchase but the last one is least preferable 'cause I'm still a poor boy that only has money on Steam.๐Ÿ˜…
Thanks in advance for any info and/or proposals.

I got mine from G2A 8 years ago. I remember that it wasn't let me to skip press Enter screen unless install GFWL. I will try it again later. There are many guides for this issue in it's Steam Community page.
