That's how I do it, I login here and then at AWA or the other way around on most days.

One of the artists from multiple Tales Of titles passed away this march (Mutsumi Inomata)...although they're not getting remotely as much love as the creator of DBZ and all those anime, both of which I personally have a long history and some life changing moments with...I just felt it was worth mentioning.

- Twitter. Sometimes open, others not. Can only read the user tweets to a point, forget about reading replies or likes. Also forget about the search feature
- Reddit. Killed Teddit, tagged as NSFW requires login. Even logged in, their NEWnew horrible layout ignores your settings, like "sort by"


Please help with others I don't use at all like Instagram, tiktok.

Bonus points if you can help me to understand how their hostile attitude to "readers and guests" helps to their userbase growth as I particularly tend to stop using them

I avoid this myself...it pops up for login, I close the page and go elsewhere. (sad fact I have an account but I get so annoyed I just close the page anyway hahahah)

I think you covered most of the general ones, I assume snapchat requires login although I've literally never even seen the homepage, sites of that sort. Flickr most likely, etc etc.
