Still missing Fallout 4, actually missing Fallout 76 too, thought I had them on GOG, but idc for the MP game.

I have all of them except 4 on one client or another (all mixed up lol), only FALLOUT: A POST NUCLEAR ROLE PLAYING GAME and FALLOUT 3 on Steam (minus shelter--which is free)

this game gets around like a cheap hooker but I still can't complete the series :ROFLMAO:

But did you play it ? If i remember you're not much into FPS and there's a big part of that in the Fallout i've played (3 and New Vegas), but those games were fabulous.

So... How good is Fallout 76? Although I have had it for quite some time now, I decided to give it a go after watching Primes's Fallout Episode 1 (it's good, btw.) yesterday.

So, I've spent some time creating my character, checking some web pages on how to play it solo and then I've left my room and started exploring the Vault. I decided to quit the game and maybe continue today.

Lo and behold! For some reason, the server made me start back in my room BUT I couldn't open the door of my room! I'm stuck and I'll die alone in my Vault apartment.

As Ron Perlman says at the start of (almost) every Fallout: "Bethesda... Bethesda never changes..."

I always use V.A.T.S. so the games have a more traditional turn-based feel of the original two Fallouts.
i used to play Fallout 4 mostly with the powerfull sword you can find early in the game....guns, riffle; machine gun, lasers are usefull too but in specific combat situation (in general from a distance), the atomic rocket launcher is also very satisfying :ROFLMAO:.

never used the v.a.t.s., i'm too afraid this will break the immersion

Check video guide on this site: Fallout 76 - New Player Guide
or call Vault support. ;)
Nah, I won't bother. I'll just start again. I'm only pissed because I'll need to recreate my Vault Dweller again.

My favourite weapon - since Fallout 2 - is the Gauss rifle.
And why would V.A.T.S. break the immersion?! It's created exactly for us old Fallout players who loved the turn-based combat of the original FO1 and FO2. The only people who would prefer playing the game as FPS, IMHO, are FPS fans or people who didn't play the original games.
