What they really got banned for is "illegal animal/child interactions." through a mod. Use your imagination for what that means. That's what happens when you use games as a service. You don't own the game. You own a licence to access it, and that can be revoked at any time for any reason. Piracy is the way.
if your going to fuck dogs...yes, you should pirate the game :ROFLMAO:

Otherwise it was fucking free

Even weirder is, how the hell did EA knew?
Are they spying on what people play and how?
That's all kinds of fucked up.

They probably caught the mod in online mode and went to check on that...they do competitions and stuff with Sims 4 - they actually just did one for a headset by logitech or corsair.

In situations like that they might...its almost like cheating on MP...worse there is an actual cash prize involved

ok, didn't knew that.
Never played Sims 4 (or any), and i have it on Steam/EA/Epic (it's free, what can i say...)
I also have The Sims 2 complete, also free, because EA gave it a long time ago, when it was Origin.

Yes. Everyone agreed to it when they clicked on the ToS agreement that no one reads. It would be simple to tell which mods are being used and reporting back to EA if launched from their client. People only realize when it becomes a problem like with Helldivers 2 recently.

Most people aren't running this mod, and some would even agree with it being banned, so it's unlikely to attract the same kind of backlash and response as HD2.

Don't need to read them to know if your online data is being sent back...it only concerns me with unknown devs.

everything is tracked...except in europe/UK, they fought for their privacy.

This I agree with...nobody is stepping up to defend banging your kids and your pets

Thank fuck.
