This is my result history over time. Highest 950 out of max 1k and lowest 22 out of max 25. I mostly jump from free deal to free deal. I could get the 950 permanently, but it's needlessly expensive. Currently on 275 out of max 250, and I paid $1 for that, and it was two months of 22 on 4G then a week of 275 before they count it, then a month more of 275. Usually get to keep the 4G modem with that, but sometimes they ask for it back. My default is 50 speed for free, which is a long running deal.

It should only take a minute where I am, but some ISPs only place the orders every week. You can also choose a future start date. The 4G modems I mentioned keep working even when you leave that ISP, but only for a certain amount of data, then they slow down until the data and speed reset at irregular times. That's why I have a collection of them. You can use the 4G during any downtime between switching providers.

I showed my real speed after...only at around 350 really and generally barely hit 300 when it matters

The only time I really thought more than 50 mattered was downloading a giant game. Some of them are 100GB+ and that's when you really notice it. Day to day though, I was fine with lower speeds.

Thats where my parents gig ethernet really shined, your right too...other than that you barely notice.
