I did the bonus game, i finished it (only 9 levels) and "only" got 25 ARP.
Shouldn't they give the max if you finish it? That would make sense.

It is purely random it seems. I got 20 ARP after finishing 3 bosses.

So Trails to Azure cock blocked me out of my auto fishing spot until a certain point in the game...not to mention made fishing a chore by adding a side quest into it that blocks certsin spots and resetting my rank (at least they gave me extra bait ) making the early game a nightmare even on normal difficulty, so I had to find an alternative after running around the map EVERYWHERE twice trying to figure out why I couldn't reach the fishing spot lmao.

Turns out part of the sidequest led me to a Gold Salmon in a fishing contest to catch the "most expensive fish", that fish can be caught multiple times unlike the last game where it was a one time prize catch.

Now maybe its just me or maybe its not a good enough spot to do it manually, but most expensive fish gave me an idea almost immediately...turns out the fish itself sells for 750 mira (gold) and the bait costs 200 and thats aside from the sepith gems it coughs up which sell for even more.

So it may not be ideal, but kicking it on auto while i'll do other stuff makes it well worth the cash...and it gives me a level 3 magic quarts every once in awhile I won't be able to get any other way for quite some time on top of it all-. I'm confused why nobody mentions this anywhere since i'm not even using my turbo controller (the game prevents it because its so fast) and I used the steam config to fake the turbo function on a slower repeat rate. The problem with everyone just searching for answers now is that nobody actually thinks for themselves anymore

I'm sure you're confusing the genre. Yes, there is a small circular and monotonous location, but this is not an open-world game, there are no activities, tasks and missions, it is rather a boring walking simulator in which you only walk, collect notes and try to piece together a story from them. And this is literally walking, for every attempt to run, the game will punish you with great pleasure, because after every three steps of running, the main character gets tired and his eyes start to darken.
There are also many questions about the story, even if you close your eyes to the mumbo-jumbo that is happening there, that's ok, in an attempt to show the authenticity, the authors only show that they do not understand what and how they want to tell, and what the context and events are. They tried to stick Soviet stars on everything possible to show some kind of authenticity, they hired translators so that the (original) texts looked authentic, but if you know where to look, you can see complete helplessness, starting with the fact that every loading screen they show a map of a completely different area, managed to confuse the gender of one character, and also such pleasant little things as the conversations of students about religion in a country where literally at that time they were studying the "scientific atheism", which the authorities forced with all their might
The only good thing there is the visual part. But walking in circles, orienting yourself in the white snow between white spruces is a very strange pleasure.
