No, that's not what AWA said. As I understand, they said it's going to take a little bit longer, to earn ARP on non-Hive streams. Basically, you're gonna have to watch a lot longer than before, to earn your full ARP on non-Hive streams. That wasn't the case before as non-Hive streams gave the same amount of ARP for the same amount of time.

As for the Hive streams there is no change, as it's the same speed and time as before. They're now trying to give it a positive spin, after this terrible update and the backlash from the people, by saying that it's faster, but it's not. It's the same speed as before, it just looks faster when you compare it to the time, it takes to complete it, if you're watching a non-Hive stream. So Basically, if there are no hive members online, it'll take you a lot longer to get your ARP.
