I wouldn't know (and why are we calling it the ausf trick? lol), I only started doing the twitch quests when I started chasing DRP for racing gear...before that I wasn't even linked up to anything else and was just collecting the daily bonus and quests, which was WAY too slow to even really bother looking back now.

For the most part, every time they do a weekly quest I haven't used that game for the other anyways yet, so it just makes sense to do both at once and I never had any reason to do it another way...but considering I game offline 99% of the time and steam STILL doesn't add it to total playtime when you do I usually have to manually try to get a game over 2 hours to even purchase market items, so its nice to know that it does work if I ever run out of games to use 🤷‍♂️

The other problem with calling it the Ausf Trick, is that it assumes there's only one. I'll share another one with you all.

The daily +6 artifact only gives the bonus when you "log in" the first time after 0:00 UTC. So if you login without having it equipped, you miss out on 12 ARP. However, you can login just before then, prepare to change it, and only click save after 0:00 UTC. This also applies to the +25% ARP artifact.

That way you can have something else equipped, like the 10% bonus set, and get the bonus for time on site and Discord, without logging in. I do this to get three Discord polls in on the one artifact change, without missing a daily +12 bonus. Then do the same thing for the following two weekly Discord polls.

Totally lost me because I don't have the artifact, I do something similar when I do the steam quests and change it after my time on site ARP maxes at 11 then wait the 24hrs and switch back before collecting it the next day since it only adds the ARP after it hits the maximum amount unlike twitch and the cap going lower has no affect after that until the next day.

The 10% artifact set requires all three slots. So that means you can't have the daily +6 equipped at the same time. By keeping the 10% set on, you get 10% for time on site, which adds +2 if you get 11. You can also vote on Discord polls with the 10% set equipped. The 10% set also includes the Discord artifact.

Then, once you have voted on Discord, and gotten the time on site ARP with 10%, you click save, and that counts as your login. So you don't miss out on your extra 12 ARP from the daily artifact.

I..kind of...get it now.

But unfortunately, I don't have a single set :LOL:

AWA keeps giving me table scraps for artifacts.

On desktop, you just keep a tab open. I don't even use mobile, so no firsthand experience of what you'd have to do.

They might be giving the 10% set out again, since they are giving one with the Steam event. I'd prefer they give the robes, but who knows what they're planning?

There could be other reasons you'd want to swap, like the 15% discount set. Then you could swap the +25% artifact in, without losing the +25% on your daily login.

Wasn't that april fools or something and some completely insane ARP cost?

I figured by now I would have a single set at least (likely a crap one but still lol)...thats honestly pretty aggravating considering I have like one or two from a couple sets.

I'm still planning on grabbing the last market DRP so i'm ok with the wait obviously.

But, next time on "the life of Nitrous" will be racing mania for sure...i'm just working out minor details like shipping since this place cant be trusted for that either.

The episode after that is gonna be a tear jerker, but racing first 😅

If it happens again give us a heads up...my AWA luck has been on an all time high right now, but my mission is likely complete too--so its probably about to flush right down the gutter after the fact. Either way i'd still try and see if I got lucky.

Unless its on discord, they can keep it if thats the case haha.
