Obviously you've never programmed...in a sense I agree with you as a consumer, but from a dev view I can say the amount of work that likely took to accomplish for such a large game probably justifies the charge.

If i'm not mistaken they were a small company before that title made it big
The thing is, it needs to be priced for the consumer, not for the devs.
I've seen plenty of small indie devs making free big updates.
Sabotage Studio, for example, will release a big DLC for Sea Of Stars completely free in 2025.

That was hardly the game that made Guerrilla Games big.
Before Horizon that had Killzone under their belt.
And let's not forget that they are owned by Sony.
I don't blame them, i blame Sony.

The game (complete edition) has also been $15 tons of times, other small indie devs never go below that price either for much worse games...because even though they're worse to us, it took them alot of work.

Depends on the dev and the reason they do it I suppose. You won't find many sony games hitting that cost before releasing a remaster though.

I'd recommend anyone that likes Silent Hill (and Killer7/Suda weirdness) to try the demo for Sorry We're Closed.

If you dont have the complete edition than its not 10€

Horizon Zero Dawn™ Remastered Bundle is 50 dollars
Horizon Zero Dawn™ Remastered is 50 dollars

If you have the complete edition base game already than there is a promotion now for 10 euro or 10 dollars
This bundle could be removed after release, not sure how it will turn either way judging by their greedy move since the game is not that old to require a remaster
My main idea isn't how much it costs, in that sense I'm not interested in games at all, I'd rather not have something in the library than have it there, but I won't even think I'll ever run it, as far as it goes to play I don't like and never have liked Dreamcast, so I ran the first two parts a few times at best. But if the series is interesting, I'm not afraid of the release time of the game, I can always come back. That's why I'm asking if anyone has played and can share their own opinion.
still good to complete collections

Dev Announcement

Somehow they forgot to remove them from the current license, so... maybe you can keep them or they remove them later.

For now you can claim those 3 Paid DLCs for free by claiming the Free Base Game.

All Credit to @meguminshiro for finding and posting this, Thank you!🤩(y)

Thanks Legolas and Meguminshiro! :)(y)
About Megumin's post I read these here:
"After the game goes free, Akaisha, Gérard Quentin, and Oli, originally part of the base game, will be available as paid DLC. However, you can still unlock them using Hero Fragments (can be obtained by doing daily activities).
- Players who already own these heroes won't be affected and don't need to unlock them again.
- The DLC prices for Akaisha, Gérard Quentin, and Oli will be $1.99, $1.99, and $2.99 respectively (pricing may vary depending on your region). Alternatively, they can be unlocked with 12, 12, and 18 Hero Fragments.
- After the transition, Specific Hero Fragments for these heroes will be added to the Daily Activities' fragment rotation system. Exact details will be available in-game."
I guess dlc will be forever free for those who redeemed base game free.
nice one! thanks! :) (y)
