I've tried and cast down the first...slightly enjoyed the third, I actually prefer the lore to the games honestly. Don't consider myself a die hard fan either though...your forgetting the witcher has also had television series and all sorts of things at this point.

maybe just my low expectations of the human race.By the time I really noticed witcher, I was already mouse handicapped from programming...I somehow ended up with someone giving me the DVDs for one, I grabbed part 3 on steam and it was decent enough to pick up the series, but I just can't play with a mouse anymore and controller mapping was madness in the classics.

I spent on World of tanks about half a year of evening plays in 2010-11. My total amount of time spent in the game client, which you can check in stat file in game dir, was a whole one month 24-7. Checking with calc - it is 744h approx, that is my record.
