Bullshit... somebody send the clown that wrote this to the lair :ROFLMAO:

Even if they argued, I bet they stick around to join in denial lmao.

Actually, if anything Amazon has everyone smoked as a legit company...which is sad considering they're not even gamer based.
However, they have been in the gaming market in recent years with their MMOs and their gaming studio.

Because most of their recent titles are (not very successful) MMOs, and that's not our type of game.
After they killed thousands lf the biggest and most expensive GPUs ever right after release during the biggest shortage in history, I wouldnt load any of their games anyways till they were over a year old lmao...and i'd probably still just not unless it was something I absolutely needed to play.

Speaking of GPUs, finally done with that...best I could here and now at least. Give some after pictures...after i'm done

Ya, the 3090 killer game
As much as they should have probably put a frame cap on the title screen, I blame the hardware manufacturers for this more than the game devs. They're responsible, and they're the ones that ended up having to pay out all the warranty claims. Nothing like taking a major hit to profits to motivate them to do better in future.

Thats the cover story version...likely because EVGA had already decided to stop making GPUs before the fact, originally the issue was reported by users of numerous brands of GPUs, EVGA states NOW that it was poor craftsmanship of a fan controller, but the original complaints not only mentioned the fan increase, but that it was "immediately" followed by frame rate dropping to zero and monitors going off...within minutes.

As someone who had a faulty EVGA 3090 FTW card with a bad 12v power connection replaced and STILL benched the living torment out of it so hard it melted the rubber stoppers on my AIO fans before noticing the power spikes and getting it replaced...later followed by the AIO and fans by pure chance...I can guarantee you that a high frame rate did not cause that issue...and the fact it was ONLY caused by new world is statement enough on its own, it certainly wasn't the new Crysis of all games during release.

EVGA cards (including my faulty one) have a temperature lock that increases fans and drops GPU load if the card hits its max temp (82°), which actually works by dropping the frame rate (benchmarking made this clear), so personally I don't buy that load of garbage, I know a few gigabyte and MSI cards got roasted at the time too...or so people claimed at least 🤷‍♂️

Minus the dirt...normally

I'm outright trashing the 140mm rear fan or at the least taking it out and replacing it until I can afford to fill a bath with isopropyl alcohol and soak it.

i'm still cleaning and thats still the old AIO...GPU is in the static proof bag it came sealed in for now...i'll throw up some pictures again when i'm fully done, getting tired and I still need to clean the processor for the new AIO so i might lax on some cleaning for now, just want it in one piece before these idiots flood my living room next--sounds like they'yr working on it
