Now to organize all the text for easier translation since its all text anyways, i'm still pissed I can't get the 3D invisible text without my hammer, but its probably better off done this way.



I've also raised up the quick menu a tad for mobile users because it was hard to tap at the edge of the screen especially if it was rounded.

I had to center align the menu options due to some of the fonts making it go off the side menu area and raise up the website links/logos for the same reason on the title screen so they didnt get covered by the quit button.

Chapter saves have been fixed before any could be broken (hopefully permanently)--except for android due to me wiping my drive and intentionally changing the key file used for builds to be safe...mobile users before version 1.04 will have to restart once. It won't happen again...keys are on external media now.

Think thats it since the last code update.

It seems adding file properties actually sets off Windows Defender, so that idea has been left on the burner until I can find a way to avoid that. (thanks for the heads up)

Now i know these games a made purely for reading

They are generally books with pictures...usually sexy pictures, but yes...they're meant to be novels as the name suggests.

I have to believe that AVNs stemmed from the concept of erotic novels...until like everything it became full of shovelware versions of them just to make a buck or some other ridiculous purpose.

If its made for reading...its one of the better ones because most are made for something else these days--and they generally suck at both.

Believe me I wish there was more exotic code myself...but as hard as it may be to believe, ren'py makes even these small changes a chore--designing the interface and making it flow throughout the entire novel portion is not as easy as it seems.

I think its actually harder sometimes than making more fast paced games in C++ or other languages...it'll definitely be harder to try to bring one of those into it.

I get the extra challenge of having a writer doing the script, they are meant to be one in the same--where i'm trying to exclude it entirely from my portion so ivo can just write and nothing else whenever possible.

And ivo gets to deal with my shit all the time...i'd say we're about even
