To me, that's taking the message to the fullest extent. It means two things, don't do it if you're going to regret it, and if you do it anyway, regret nothing. I doubt that was the intent of that character, but that's what I took it to mean.
In that light...it does make a (stupid) kind of sense...but thats a little far for a message most will interpret as your just a moron lmao.

In order to make a point...you first have to be seen as someone worth listening too...and that certainly isn't going to do you any favors.

Or you can beat someone to death...most people listen after something like that too 😅

Yes, that's just what I took away from it. He's supposed to be a moron that can't spell, and that's the joke. I suppose some people might also get a tattoo like that ironically. Doing it ironically is similar to my take, but also taking it at face value, then reading meaning into it that, while not intended, does make logical sense.

Oh I see your point...and its a valid one, in that sense, we do think alike (although i'll laugh first and catch it after lol), but that one would just be a bad plan all around IMO.

I was intentionally going to have PIGS tattooed on my back in huge letters, then in small print close up it would have had

(P)ride, (I)ntegrity, and (G)uts printed downward from the letters, meant to set cops off until they got close up--because its the old slogan of the bobby's, the original police...but I realized it would get me more beatings by morons than respect by the few who waited to read it

Good joke, bad idea, because most people wouldn't wait for the punchline.

Speaking of intent and interpretation, it's like Starship Troopers. The book was genuine, serious, and positive to the form of government in that setting. The movie loosely based on it was made by Hollywood leftists attempting to make it look stupid, and point out how bad that kind of thing would be.

What they didn't realize is that the message itself was so strong, that people would overlook the cartoonish silliness of the movie, read the book, and still reach the original intent of the book's author. Some people didn't even bother with the book, and took the movie at face value, and what they were attempting to parody and ridicule, ended up finding new supporters of the ideology.

The same is true of some songs. Some were attempting to make fun of certain groups, but ended up being taken on by those same groups as if it wasn't a parody, but instead genuine. Either that, or they looked beyond the intent, and instead read their own meaning into it. I also saw the reverse, some people attempting to find meaning in songs, only to realize the original author had no such hidden message, and it really was just a silly pop song.

Eye of the beholder 🧠 👁️

Also brings up a thought about when one persons eyes can see nearly every possibility...these days the brilliant minds of medicine call it schizophrenia, because most people crumble under fear or pressure and go nuts. I don't actually believe they're right, and it runs in my family. I've seen it horribly first hand.

I'm not sure what this says about the games made these days...but I have a killer urge to go install Final Fantasy 13 just to watch the early game cutscenes, and thats not even close to the best in the series...sadly FF7R sits unplayed in my Epic library partially because its on Epic and requires internet to start the game, but also because I just hit the missable grind-a-thon side quests when you get Tifa I don't care to deal with...made worse because I farmed Adamantoise in FF 13 for every single end game weapon by choice, and thats was a horrible grind, but it wasnt something I could miss by doing something else inbetween either. I don' like being forced to interrupt the story or be screwed, especially on a game like FF7 where you had the freedom to grind where and when you wanted and go back to any location.

I'm also kind of a Lightning lover (not like that--I'd take vanille), but I think she was one of the most diverse characters they ever made...and a badass to boot.

I am glad you guys have a chance

I need at least 3 months to reach level 5

so No Way Jose for us
I wouldn't worry about it, trying to get games from the highest tier usually brings disappointment, because they will have two keys that no one will have time to take.
You have to choose among other things, and there is not much choice this time. In my opinion, I should look towards Hotline Miami, since they chose very old games, then there will probably be a lot of keys. Since I haven't played it, I will aim for them. I already have experience betting on the underdog, I have already finished that stupid terrible game about the fly :)

Its a shameful day when I have to say Yakuza Black Flag actually looks like the best game in the vault  but it does. I'm just glad I threw my cards in when Sonic had a billion copies the one and only time they'll ever do that.

But thats besides my point, I was chiming in to say I believe I've played it before (and if i'm remembering right and the fly game was disappointing, your heading downhill lol), I can't speak for the other games in the series, but I believe I played either part 1 or part 2 back on Playstation and even then it was a classic, expecting old school GTA style fun...and even then, I was disappointed, the collection on AWA actually has a like $40 price tag but the games in the collection can be bought separately for around $8.

I have to suggest that if your really hell bent on suffering, you don't do it twice by wasting ARP when you can pick up both part 1 and 2 for around $3-$4 unless you just have ARP to waste 🤷‍♂️ and part 1 is only a little over a buck atm.

EDIT:

For that 1200 ARP you could VPN to dell rewards US after buying 2000 DRP and buy star wars battlefront

(next on my list)

What really annoys me is they have Persona 5 Royal for XBox and not PC.

I had to spoil myself today just to remember i'm still a gamer and not just a game developer lmao...caught it cheap.

I'll likely never get to playing it anytime soon, but I had to get something I wanted...just to stay sane.

Glad I mentioned it actually...forgot to remove it from my wishlist here 😅

Second Time Scars Above game key does not work and this time problem was, a exhausted key from humble whatever that is
so he sent Onechanbara Z2: Chaos on Steam instead.

I still hate trading but sometimes it does put a smile on my face (cant lie there)

The book was unintentionally idolizing fascism and that's because Heinlein spent a decent part of his life in the military and the military operates under the same rules as any fascist regime. That's a characteristic of many early Heinlein's works. Many other SF authors pointed out his xenophobic views toward aliens in his books and even in those books where aliens weren't evil, they ended up dangerous for the human race.

Later on, Heinlein made a huge U-turn - I guess as growing up intellectually and as an author - and his novel Stranger in a Strange Land became the "hippiest" SF novel ever.

So, for starters - there are no "leftists" in Hollywood or anywhere in the US mainstream politics. Even Barry Sanders would barely get into any European Social-democratic party - and that would be in its right-wing part. The movie is a great vision of Paul Verhoeven, the man who was always ahead of his time. he recognized fascist elements in the novel and only exaggerated them. That upset real-life neo-fasicist, but gave us another masterpiece.
