Doesnt matter if I did want to use an idler (which I dont), my Steam credentials like everything else in my life have their proper place. One place. Good security practice so you don't get your whole life torn in half all at once in the unlikely event that even someone like me managed to get hijacked.

Even more so these days since I was forced to leave my comfortable solitude in the land of ghosts to promote a video game...which you may not believe at our current state, probably made a few money grubbing devs and their loyal toadies unhappy simply because I raised the bar so high right fron the starting line as to what can actually be done in ren'py if someone puts in the effort. Truth is with ivo's firm belief in Story first (like they were meant to be), and my 'crazy' concept that if it might be useful to someone they should have the option to use it whenever I program...we likely have a bigger fan club of haters than followers right now 😅

I keep all my security spread so thin I can't really be hurt even if I get hit...and someones been trying to do just that on my ren'py drive--which has nothing but the game stuff on it, I keep my life in entirely separate worlds split by where it can be accessed from sending myself info and files when needed so they never physically collide.

My other programming drive was formatted, everything installed, updates nullified...and has NEVER been online again. I'll test from other drives and such before it ever sees the possibility of having an internet connection, hence why my mobo doesnt have wifi onboard.

It seems like I should wear a tinfoil hat (I'm aware), but thats the difference between knowing what can actually be done by myself, and therefore be done by someone else, compared to simple click and play. Programmers are paranoid by nature...and for a good reason. They see the possibilities because they could make them realities.

EDIT:

Just the concepts on my main programming drive are worth more than I am :LOL: i intend to torch it when I die along with my massive DVD collection.

Fuck!!! I just switched all my artifacts for the stupid event!!! 🤬

Whats in the vault? Is it the chop shop list with Yakuza Black Flag still?
