The elevators were going to fall, the nuclear power plants were going to explode and we were all going to die. 🤣
Are*

It hasnt happened yet according to best buy scientists

The worst thing I saw happen was someone ended up with 600 extra dollars in their bank account lmao. (no not me, i'm never that lucky)

God I really am old, somehow I got myself thinking all out of wack with years and thinking it was 2010 from something else that happened in my life.

So, funny story...I've been using virtualbox for awhile now and I realized I was missing like 100 GB of free space on my 4TB drive, Windows would show me the space as being used in Disk Cleanup but refused to ever clean it...a 3rd part tool like CcCleaner or something might've did the trick, but i've learned over time that updating those has as much risk to crash your drive as not half the time and stopped using them and havent made a new one myself because when I did I learned how easy it was to do it by hand lol.

Point of the story:

I found the files myself in my appdata folder, it seems that when you drag files between a VM and your actual host drive they copy the entire file into temporary storage before moving it to the location you actually dragged it and neglect to remove the temporary files.

I was moving GB of files between them so you can imagine how fast this added up

I wouldn't go near CCleaner or anything similar (don't know about CcCleaner ;) - maybe this one is safe). But I do use a little app called "TreeSize Free", helped me a lot of times to find those disk hoarding files eating my HD space

Obviously a typo...and i'm obviously having a bad day. Really need my meds :ROFLMAO:

I use Glary Utilities and was lucky enough to get a lifetime license here for it from Retro randomly, I just wont put it on this drive because its my virus drive and its actually licensed heh.
