And you beat us by 4 then 🤷‍♂️ but pronunciation methods vary by alot and if you never bother to learn you won't. With english being the main language of the world none of you fucking foreigners can speak properly...I dont feel the urge :ROFLMAO:

I put up with your shit you can deal with mine.

Everytime I read mum in our game I cringe, but I refuse to ask ivo to change it. Its mom here.
Until your POTUS forces us to use "American", we'll speak and write proper UK English, mate! :ROFLMAO:

William Wallace died in 1305. The first kilts didn't appear until centuries later. Hollywood doing Hollywood things. Feel free to tease.
Its what we do  even to each other obviously.

All in good fun...and frankly no insult really intended toward kilts, brits, or otherwise (even mel--guy beat his wife/woman actually, which negates the movie I mentioned).

Actually the Patriot is one of my favorite war films. I love the concept of the militia when morons were standing face to face with powder rifles...and the tomahawk/hatchet

If i'm being dead realistic...I could care less what absolutely anyone likes, wears, does, or enjoys to themselves...from wearing skirts, kilts, or even a full blown maid outfit like the picture the other day...furries, gay, none of it bothers me in the least unless its forced upon me. I assume for them it would be the same as trying to force them not to enjoy it--which is exactly why I wouldn't judge.

Just because its not my thing doesnt mean I have an issue with it or I find it horrible...but we all gotta be ourselves, and joking is a part of that.

If we tiptoe around every single sensitive subject on the planet we literally can't laugh anymore 🤷‍♂️ because someone likes everything...even some things 90% of the world would consider something too extreme for even the thought to cross their mind.

Its the way life is, if you can't laugh about your own tastes, regardless if they're not popular topic...thats a personal issue in your own head.

We should all be comfortable in our own skin...at least in our own mind, even if we don't bring it up during conversation.

I enjoyed both The Patriot and Braveheart. Both are historical fiction, very loosely based on events that actually happened.

They certainly employed guerilla tactics, and targeted officers, something that the British were not prepared for. So the movie wasn't completely wrong there. Still historical fiction though.

Obviously, as you said--hollywood. But thats the point of fiction, enjoyment.

EDIT:

Side note, I have a braveheart replica sword (almost taller than me), and a tomahawk

As long as it's consensual and private I don't care either. As for public decency though, that varies by culture.

The Cannes Film Festival just updated their dress code, specifically targeting any form of nudity, including sheer clothing, and those giant trains women often wear, which I assume they remove to sit down.

Many Muslim countries have very different definitions of public decency, as do native cultures, which wear almost nothing, that still exist today.

No argument there...some cultural wear should be respected, but so should peoples eyesight  honestly its a little disturbing whats passing for normal or ok here these days and i'm the first to admit it...I'm pretty sure some people are doing it for a shield so they can claim harrassment just to get an easier way in.life...which is more shameful than actually wanting to do it just because.

I know two females who have went gender swap, one personally, who I let live with me because they were a friend of family before they did.

I actually had a deep conversation with them about why out of pure curiosity...and the answers I got, although not sensical to me were enough to respect the choice, although I could never personally say it was the right one--thats not for me to judge, thats their choice and theirs alone. Who am I to say whats in their head.

I mean a sadist might love my life...personally I don't 🤷‍♂️ I love aspects of my life, that isnt one of them.

I had a 2m claymore. I found it pretty hard to use. Also, the guard kept hitting me in the wrist. I ended up selling it. I think they were mostly for show. I can't imagine actually using something like that as a solo weapon. Maybe in formation, but wouldn't a spear be better for reach, and shorter sword be better at closer range?
and a tomahawk
I have a hatchet. Amusingly, when I bought it, it was seized by customs as a "throwing axe" and so I got a refund. I then ordered another one, and it arrived. You can throw any axe, and even get it to stick blade first if you're good enough. Meanwhile, I doubt your average noob could throw even a perfectly balanced tomahawk style hatchet and get it to stick very often.
