I'm starting to feel like my joke about gala ratings was taken as a subliminal hint

You guys were never obligated or asked to rate our game, here, or anywhere else...we needed the social kickstart back when we asked people to leave comments and like our pages in order to have a footprint just to start the pay sites but we're over that bump now.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate it and i'm sure ivo does too...but I don't want a bunch of pretend ratings to be completely honest, I like to use those to judge how much people really like the game--rating it truthfully is one thing, but jumping over just to give us five stars leaves a bad taste in my mouth for some reason...even if it might help us still this early on.

I think it comes from the concept of rating manipulating which some devs have had the ratings shut off for doing...I'm sure thst was another monster entirely with crowds of alt users and shit, but i've always found that to be particularly slimy...especially when a game was good enough to never need it.

I believe ours is, and will only improve...I won't tell people not to do what they want to do, but I will ask that people don't mention it if they do.

I'm a fucking mind job, I know...but a deed done without anyone knowing means it was for the right reasons...if you get my drift.

I can't word it any better than that right now and I feel like an idiot trying.

Hot Wheels 2 is on sale again on steam for a pretty good price if anyones been interested...knocked it off my wishlist since I had some wallet funds left from my gift card I loaded after the prototype purchase.

I can safely say that VNCraft are my favorite AVN devs... becasue I've never played any other AVNs

Thats where all users familiar to itch go to check the status...where it says "last updated" because after initisl launch the pages usually only get logs for actual game updates...at least in my experience there.

So when the status changes and the dev log isnt blah blah paid release they know its a new version

Itch isnt a major money maker, its a fan site...you may get donations rarely, but for the most part its more where you have free users and get good feedback from the fans.

Its the poor mans patreon when people dont use pirate sites (hence me being so familiar with it lmao)
