Me too, I was using ffmpeg to resize and burn dragon ball (original) to blu-ray and come to find out 4 discs later it was chopping out episode endings due to chapter markers and me changing the format so it was all a waste...except I did learn how to add audio from one file to another video and shit

*4 disks and 80 re-made videos later

Basically the same as rendering

I should be working on my appeal but I cant even find the energy to start...my ex got the idea of coming to help once I was organized, but she expected me to organize in like 3 days, I was like...right.

It took me 8 months non stop to do all the paperwork, i'll have it summarized in half a week after they deleted most of it good gesture, insane concept.

I feel ya in truth I always have. When I was thinking of telling that dev I mentioned to stop and redo the models while it was early...I was serious and its something I would do. Better to fix it early than have it nag you (and the fans) through the entire process and consider remaking it if it got popular.

The dfference is that even though I could easily just burn the entire series of mp4 files to one blu-ray in 15 minutes and watch it that way, i'm willing to waste another 2 days including while I sleep just to correct the aspect ratio to my liking without losing a portion of the image, so i'm encoding it myself first and then letting the blu ray encode mux it into disk format and wasting another 4 BD-R 25gb disks just because I insist on perfection.

I earn the right to nitpick because I would do it myself

I also had one video that errored and thats how I learned to mix audio and video streams from two sources, seems the chapter marks caused thst error as well.

Better to bust ass learning and get things right than just get things done you'll regret later

Unfortunately my mentality about things doesn't change other peoples...so I can't fix other peoples mind-state and I can't save myself no matter how much effort i'm willing to invest in doing so. Its in someone elses hands., all I can do is return the pain they gave me. Really feeling the clock tick now.
