I thought the new game would be an Asteroids clone or Missile Command because Spore is, more or less, Space Invaders.

I don't think AWA could handle an asteroids clone (particularly on mobile), although i'd likely enjoy it if they managed to pull it off right...right being the key word here. The 360 rotating ship controls and physics based drifting in space for Asteroids is pretty difficult to pull off in reality, even though the concept itself is simple.

You have to have worked there your whole life. They're not hiring new random old men to do nothing. There are plenty of bullshit jobs though. China has white monkey jobs, where you're hired to be a mascot, with little in the way of actual work. Several Middle Eastern countries have guaranteed government jobs, with little actual work to be done, so people just hang out in the basement with nothing to do most of the time.
