If you read the announcement, they offered Steam keys to people that provided screenshots of owning the game on other platforms, but people farmed keys, and sold them on third party platforms. 30% of their total sales came from these free keys.

One reason for doing it this way is that I'm pretty sure these kinds of licenses don't add to the review score. $0.00 add to account retail licenses do count. Maybe they're afraid that people that get it for free will place no value in it, and be overly harsh in the reviews.
Whatever, I'm poorer than spit and if I give our game away for free...you'll be able to access it by normal means. No excuse for being a douchebag. Don't really care to argue it.

I do think it's a weird method of giving it away, but I'm not sure douchebaggery was the intent. I'd prefer a key, since that would give me a retail license, but a free retail license does the same thing, just without cards if there were any. My first thought is not that they're being a douche for denying me cards.

I just think it seems sneaky, its the first I've seen anyone do it this way...its probably a virus :ROFLMAO:

Just in case, I might try to catch this game for someone, because I definitely won't be taking anything for myself this time. But keep in mind, neither I nor my country are loved there on AWA, so no 100% guarantees I'll succeed.
I won't be too surprised if that sells out at the price honestly...the Atari game would surprise me more.

I officially hate renpy's 3D stage  its no worse than DAZ and actually uses the same basic coordinates but being able to see things on screen and trying to do it in code are two entirely different beat your head against a wall monsters lmao.

I've been stabbing myself in the brain for like 3 days (after getting 4 images rotating nicely) trying to make 6 rotate for my purposes...because six is an odd number in terms of 3D space unlike 4 its making me want to kill myself 😅

3D axis was always one of my weak points in math.

So, I got irritated enough with z axis coordinates that I tried to do my layout in daz (which worked), then realized I had no way to get the coordinates because...yep...they don't take camera position into account.

So then, I try writing a script for DAZ because low and behold nobody has bothered to f'in do this yet out of all things--and then I realized why, daz has an immeasurably complicated API of its own based on JS but unique to its own program...and the documentation is so terrible even the AI doesnt know what the hell its talking about and it seems its changed 9 times since they first created it...so I got script running and it returned empty variables (nothing) and finally got MORE irritated with daz scripting than coordinates :ROFLMAO: so I just gave up

Don't forget about the AWA Vault; it opens in 38 minutes.
I can't decide if I even want to go for the game, which means I likely won't  i'm an ARP meiser now that my connection is limited.

EDIT:

Means I don't want you to do it either vic, be different if I tried and missed it or I was going to play it right now...I cant even decide lol.
