BTW The Steam people are really horrible and greedy. What about this:
What is a Steam Gift?
[bla di bla] Also note that you may only gift new purchases—you may not transfer games you already own. That’d be like wrapping up and presenting the toaster you’ve used every morning for the past year.
They never heard of second-hand shops?
What if I did not use this toaster at all, and my friend does really like it?
What if I bought a new toaster.
Yes, they are a bunch of greedy bas**@#$**!
for digital goods, you don't buy the product but a "one user non transferable" licence

a game produced by lootboy
Ah yes, I stopped doing those things some time ago. It didn't work for me because of the privacy settings.
And 40 minutes for 40 diamonds? Wow that's about 0.6 $ an hour...
It is enough for child labour I guess, and it is playing a game ... Oh well seems fitting then. :ROFLMAO:

Thanks! So buying a digital gift card for 5$ on the second account and gifting it to another account wil get rid of the limited account setting?
That would be great! (y)
I'm not sure, because I have never bought Steam gift cards. The safest way (if this is possible to do) would be to put 5 dollars (or equivalent in your currency) into your second Steam account and then use those funds to buy the gift card that you will send to your primary Steam account. I think this would work. I'm not sure it would work without adding the funds to the second acc's wallet though (i.e. if you pay for the gift card with debit card), because I'm not sure if gift cards count as gifts (it should work this was as well, but sometimes Steam can surprise you with their definitions)

Okay edit: just realized it might work your way too, because I don't know which account you refer to as "second" and which as "another", so perhaps yes

True! But Steam came with the toaster analogy.

Ha ha ha. :ROFLMAO: Sorry to be so confusing. No, your way is way better. Thanks! (y)
So I should have written:
Buy a digital gift card for 5$ on account A. Gift the card to account B. Limits on account A are now removed. Right?
