I won Double Cross but I don't know if it is a legit key, or a temp one.
On steam it looks like a real key. in my licenses It sais retail.

Which means that it's either the real deal, or there is an additional mechanism of deprecating select sets of keys I'm not aware of.

I can confirm its the real key, Maybe that's how alienware is trying to combat bots, by saying its 'free weekend'.
I can buy Adventures of Chris Soundtrack, which wouldnt be possible if I did not own Adventures of Chris

I think it is a cheat. It would be very, very coincidental that there was a giveaway right after the giveaways on AWA. Did the same person also giveaway the other games from AWA?
What is the link for the giveaway?
Btw I think that if AWA gives away a 'full' game and retracts it after some time, Steam would not mind. Just one of the quirks from Steam.

I highly doubt it's a bot deterrent My best bet is that these (AA GAs) licenses are going to get revoked via the standard key revoking mechanism available to publishers.

...however there's no way to know for sure until the day arrives.

Well, I'm really annoyed by this. I accidentally clicked on one of the Double Cross giveaways because it's a game on my wishlist. I shouldn't have to go read the description, beta and free play keys shouldn't be allowed here, especially because IG charges you like it's the full game.

I really hope I don't win or it's an instant negative from me.
