Giveaway sites like that is exactly why I have a second Steam account: I can wishlist and follow and join everything they want, get the key, and never need to worry about clogging up my real account with garbage.

That being said, how are people using this site? Every time I go there's no quests, like the main page is just completely empty, and the direct links to quests give me 404. I just assumed the got hugged to death on launch day and hadn't figured out how to recover yet.

Some cheating detected
wait do you have two steam accounts or something?
2 accounts needed, 1 for the Kid and another for the Kidding :ROFLMAO:

That site apparently tracks whether you keep the tasks in their completed state, and requires you to re-complete the tasks later if you have reverted one of them. See their FAQ and the Reddit discussion https://www.reddit.com/r/FreeGameFindings/comments/q8vqc4 . (Edit: it seems this may also lead to bans as Legolas unfortunately experienced.)
Probably those guys get paid for task completion by the respective devs thus they are able to "pay out" in those free games and with us reverting the completion it might have caused them to lose that income? Not too sure but that's their rules we just have to play with it or not take anything 😩

Well, I'm pretty sure I got banned. It's not like I care tbh.

Yep I think having a secondary account for such rubbish tasks might be a good way to go except that most require an unlimited account to complete the task.

You need to spend $5 on the account, yeah. I just bought some cheap game that had been sitting in my wishlist. Enable family sharing for the account and I can play it as if it were in my main.

Time for another wheel draw? How about 2 for this weekend? ;)
To make things even for those who participated in both the winner for the first draw will be removed from joining the second. Joining for both possible! Previous draw winners are also able to join (as of now no one has been marked for a skip) :giggle:

First we have this puzzle game a rare drop from the challenge very kindly sponsored by -v-.
Droplitz
[...]
I've seen Droplitz reported as won eight times by different users on this forum, but I don't think I've ever seen a key for it show up in the raffle section of this site.

I can't help feeling a little guilty about entering a drawing right after having won the last one, but, the game does look kinda nifty, and it doesn't seem to be buyable anywhere, so...
Yeah, sorry, count me in for Droplitz. ^^;

I'll stay out of the Red Orchestra drawing, though.

I think winning rate is much bigger, because I am for example won droplitz 3 times, but reported once ( first one was almost year ago, one 3 or 4 months ago, and this one few weeks ago). And not much people report about duplicate wins.
I didn’t expect such interest for the game, I’m even scared to imagine what would happen if the key doesn’t work, I’ll probably fall through the ground out of shame.

No shame needed, only the IndieGala management should be ashamed of giving out dupe keys.
We would all have a great laugh about all wanting to get a key that was a dupe in the end. :ROFLMAO:

No need to feel guilty after all if you won this key as well you will be placed on a ban for the next draw. Everything is made as fair as I can possibly think of :)

If the key doesn't work we will just take it that the draw didn't happen at all. I mean we can't guarantee keys will 100% work so if that doesn't and the keys are rather uncommon or rare we most probably will not have a replacement 🙃

Notice for current draw
Ok draw will commence in another hour. Any last entries please place them within the hour! After 2pm UTC no more entries will be accepted ;)
We currently have 9 participants for Droplitz and 7 for Red Orchestra

P.S. I was thinking of a fairer way since I am also interested in joining for this yet I don't wish to take sponsored games as mine to own. So with my joining the above draw all other participants get 1 additional draw chance for the above. Don't worry I will want play fair and respect whatever the result comes from the wheel. :)

Second we have a really uncommon drop from the challenge as well. Sponsored by none other than Jer7cho!

I have been trying to access my today's won games but seems like the library has been down for the whole day? Anyone has any luck accessing their Indiegala library?
This issue has been becoming more and more frequent. It used to be like once every 2 weeks then once weekly and now almost the whole day?

Just now it worked. But I got a captcha and a code request in the last days. Haven't seen that before this occurrence in weeks.
And mostly the problems are on the library-tab and not on the forums.

I think I get captcha almost every time I login. A ninja cannot be trusted with logging in without captcha 😂

The giveaway tab works but everything else doesn't. Indiegala places more emphasis on giveaway to bring forth the giving culture we have here. Everything else can go down but never about giving games away :ROFLMAO:

I have to login on Indiegala when I closed the browser. With captcha I think (will test). But mostly that is it.
Mozilla Firefox, standard setting for privacy, 'cookies and site data' allowed for https://www.indiegala.com
You are right that it makes sense that there are higher requirements for ninjas! :ROFLMAO:
