They simply buy the keys on kinguin and similar grey market sites like tons of other people do. If anything they are cheating twitch (and the advertisers) with these non-stop empty streams because there's nothing to actually watch on the stream so the ads are playing to nobody basically, the viewers are just idling for the stream coins.

On the other hand I very much doubt he made much on his whole scheme. In the previous months he gave away tons of shovelware keys and hundreds of cheap bundle game keys trying to pump up his viewership numbers. The bundles he tried to sell were also crap with probably nobody buying. He was probably seriously in the red till this non-stop stream idea which is the first thing that seems to be working out for him.

It's been like that for me for 2 days and I've been synching my steam account again and again to no avail, but today in Feudalife saw my malus reduced by 1 coz of steam group, so I think it's all good now.

The starting malus is still currently 10, so with an old account (-2) and member of the Steam group (-1) you end up with 7 seconds.
