Most of epic games are semi-drm-free and don't need client to run but few games have drm and need client.

I'm not great at security and it doesn't seem like any serious attacks have been made so far (maybe it's not that relevant to for prospective hackers?), but maybe wait until it gets patched and properly vetted before installing it again.
Luckily it's not actually necessary for downloading and launching your games, but still a bummer, considering I've heard good things about how convenient it is for managing your game library across different platforms.

I could be wrong but I think you have to run game/application with infected DLL through gog galaxy client.
In my opninion (I'm not great at security too) it means that some developer need to implement infected DLL in application/library.
It is always better to not use more application than you need.
I wonder if anyone has tested other clients because each of them works in a similar way.

I never buy anything there due to needing to pay extra for taxes above the retail price but I do play games on Epic client with my friends (never did play any steam games with them though) as Epic gave some rather nice multiplayer games.

Once I get an upgrade on my system I can foresee more playing there. My friends seldom buy games on steam and are already complaining of having too many games across different platforms to play so we have been playing our Epic freebies usually :ROFLMAO:

Integrade is the edition that comes with the Yuffie arc. Before it was a PS5 exclusive until it comes on Epic Games (PS4 owners never got the Yuffie arc and may never get them). This is the 1 thing I never liked about Square Enix.. DLC this exclusive port this..

Also the reason why I think I might just get FF XV on windows as it comes full with all the DLC contents (except for Ardyn episode) that PS owners have to pay over $20 to access the additional content in their so called "Royal Edition"

I had another friend who bought FF XV on release and had to buy these 2 DLCs just to "complete" his play (over $30). Of course Ardyn episode is another ;)

Epic has been very generous at times I still have Nioh Complete to play before anything so Epic can take their time. Else I will only get a copy once they fully finished the FF7R series. I read that it's going to be a 3 disc game with 1 disc release each time. Just imagine dishing out $60 for each disc.. Square's most expensive game to date at $180 for the entirety? 🙃

Yesterday I had to read through 5 pages. The activity here is pretty insane but good nonetheless. I wonder if in future I come by once every week or 2 what would I be trying to read 🤪

Nice! I think I really need something like this! Also does it require a load up of another client (double client) if the game is DRM-tied?

Another question, have you tried what if you own a game on say Steam and Epic what will happen? Of course stupid me have traded more than once for a game on steam which I already own on other platforms 😅

Now this drops hunter can focus on hanging out on 1 channel as opposed to going for 2 for game farming and drops. Don't ask me why I want those drops. I also cannot answer but it's just something to stay "watching" on twitch. So many drops to collect for games I might never ever play :ROFLMAO:

I can now foresee more viewers on his channel (only time will tell us if it is good or bad). 🙃

That's me too. I pop by every few days and some days I get to finish my coffee just on this site, so yeah 🤪 at first, but then :coffee:(y):giggle: love you all for your sharing games and hilarious stories.

...which reminds me... someone mentioned they had hundreds perhaps thousands of games?? Yikes. You'd be shocked at my lack of games then. :ROFLMAO: All good tho, I have a Quest and Roblox (ftw :ROFLMAO:).

I've got over 1k games on my steam library and you can probably imagine what kind of a mess I am to go through to think of what to play in future.. It's like having so many clothes you know not of which to wear for the day! Now I can understand why my 2 friends decide to throw all their keys to me previously so they can pick off what they want once I activated a copy of the game they want most :ROFLMAO:

I really can't imagine those collectors with over 10k games. Seriously how to play? I am already probably set for the entirety of my life to these games I have on hand.. But my greed doesn't stop as I still have games I would want to add (and hopefully play) 🤪

Drops from twitch are for in game use. Like say Rocket League once you link your Rocket League account to twitch and claim those drops, you get those drops enabled for your use/activation the next time you go into said game. I've collected so many drops on twitch (like I say for what I know not). It's like an extra part since we idle to farm for points might as well farm drops as well since they don't clash.

Kind of motivates me to play the games too.. Like I farmed for Don't Starve Together drops which I will definitely grab a copy and play in future. What good are the drops for? I dunno.. Some cosmetics some items to aid gameplay but free is free nonetheless 😝🙃
