I also got mine :)

Even though I am not active on the forum recently (sorry, got a little bit more work recently + I'm trying to play some of the games I won whenever I got some free time :) ) I'm trying to follow the discussion here... seeing that some of you guys may be interested in West of Dead I bought a key and would like to propose a raffle for it :) Same rules as usual, just write that you're interested and I will add you to the list. I will conclude the raffle after one or two days. The only change that I would like to impose is that people who are not interested in playing it at some point (only your intentions count) and/or not having it for themselves (willing to sell, trade, make a profit from it, etc.) are not welcome. I would like to give it to someone who's interested in THIS (not the other) game, and if you intend to play it in the very distant future (1 year, 10 years, whenever), when you get a better PC, or you just want to have it in your collection - it counts as interested, and you're more than welcome :)
  1. KaWa
  2. Jer7cho
  3. Lewitas
  4. slurredprey87
  5. luuccas
  6. arame
  7. darkStar_
  8. chaosttc

PS. Hanzo tried to give me Men of War Red Tide (the key was unfortunately duplicated) and after that, he gave me the Men of War Assualt Squad DLC Pack. thank you, Hanzo!
may i also join the rafle

I'm not very active in the forum due to my English skill (it takes me a lot of time to write anything, check it etc.) but I'm participating in community giveaways and recently I noticed something.

1. For example this giveaway of enslaved. It was single ticket kind. I've joined this GA, it appeared on "in progress entries" list in library. It should end few hours ago but it didn't and the "join" button is still active for me. Is it active and still unresolved for you too?

2. I think this is related to the previous. There are few giveaways which are single ticket kind. I've joined them. Galasilver points disappeared. Giveaway appeared on "in progress entries" list in library but when I open them (doesn't matter if I click on community giveaway list or "in progress entries" in library) the "join" button is still active. To make it clear - mostly it is working how it should (I mean, if I join GA, the "join" button turn gray as it should and still be gray if I visit giveaway later), but sometimes it doesn't. Have you noticed such a thing? I wonder how many times I've joined the same single ticket giveaways and whether it gave me at least 1 ticket or not.

Galasilver points are mostly for free but it cost some time to choose proper giveaways. I want to determine what the level of wasting time it is.

There is something strange happening with giveaways in last few days. I see a lot of games that are expired but still present on the list of games. Sometimes there is 20-30 expired games that I need to scroll through to get to the available ones.
I have that IndieGala browser extension and since it is still in development, it creates all sorts of bugs, so maybe it is connected with that.

I don't know if you have the extension installed, it's kind of a two-edged sword, it fixes a lot of things, but also creates some new ones.

p.s. Don't worry about your english, it's fine. This is a great place to practice. Almost everybody here speaks english as a second language.

I've forgotten to add that this Enslaved giveaway disappeared from "in progress entries".

Thank you for such a kind words. Practice is important but it's not as effective if you don't know what are you doing (I mean me) and how to improve it.

Just do what you're doing now and it will get better, but honestly, don't worry about it, it is more than understandable.

Try the extension, maybe it will fix your problem, if not, you can always uninstall it.
chrome (works with Opera) IndieGala Helper
mozilla IndieGala Helper – Get this Extension for 🦊 Firefox (en-US)

Those expired giveaways show up even without the IG Helper extension, but I agree, the extension does create some weird side-effects, like giveaways not showing up or getting listed in the wrong order, especially when filtering by level. It's annoying, but reloading or re-filtering usually does the trick.

To AquaMusingsDancing's point, I feel that some of my in-progress entries have been disappearing lately, but I can't confirm it. It's just a hunch.

Edit: I should add, there've been occasions where the "enter" button for a giveaway that I'm in went from being greyed out to being active again, but I don't think I've ever been allowed to enter the same giveaway more than once or got double charged. Usually, when I try to enter such a GA, I get an error code (e250?)

Does IGHelper work with Firefox for you? I've had no luck with it and have been forced to use Opera instead.
The Firefox version is very out of date. It's on v4.5.2 compared to v5.0.10 for Chrome.

Your English is perfectly fine! Don't worry about it. Don't let that be a reason for you not to express yourself here, if you have something to say!

i had the same experience with this one Solarix (extra odds) but since 2 days all my entries (19) appears to be correctly registered
looks like a database synchro glitch...(possibly caused by an upgrade of some sort...this also can explain the "expired" giveaways in the list)
