I like the raffle system for this giveaway because it gives everyone a fair chance to win, but I worry about a deluge of new users over the course of this week diluting the odds for the more active members. Worse, some people might decide to game the system by creating a bunch of fake accounts. There should be a safeguard against that. Maybe exclude any accounts younger than 1 week?

As for fairness, I think that active members should be rewarded with better odds. Maybe give users more tickets based on their user rank. (e.g. new member=1 ticket , member = 2 tickets, active member = 3 tickets , etc.) I feel that someone like me should be near the bottom of the odds totem pole compared to users with thousands of posts.

Just an idea. I realize it's more work to manage a weighted draw.

There are 2 options: You can weigh the number of tickets per user by rank or by number of posts (see 2 tabs at the bottom)
All you have to do is assign the weights in the top table, then populate the bottom table with all the users and their ranks/posts.
The RNG will pick a winner. You delete the row corresponding to that user. It'll pick a new winner, etc.
