Is anyone able to run the Steam version of Still Life on Windows 10? I have the game as a downloadable exe from IG but can't get it to work... it freezes during the intro video.

I was thinking of requesting it from the pool to have on Steam but I imagine I'll just run into the same problem, just like this guy: Hanging on the intro video :: Still Life General Discussions

Edit: Never mind. Too much of a PITA to get this thing working on modern windows. I don't care enough. I'll just watch a video playthrough.
Made it past the intro into the game!

If you don't want to mess your installation to play old games, just install VirtualBox 5.2 (or any under 6.0) which has support for directx up to 9.0c (if i recall) and you are done.

I've played Still Life and many other games that way for years (last was Looking for Aliens from retro ) and no problem at all. If you need any help with this just ask.
