Your mobile should be able to scan the QR code without the app, just open the stock camera app and point the mobile to the QR as you wanted to take a picture (don't press the "shot button") the camera automatically will give you the QR website link to open in a browser.
I know you won't try this but I just tell you for information.

If you have another phone take a picture of the QR then scan it with the other phone or scan it from pc monitor when you will be in front of it
Or another solution put a paper on the phone then draw it by hand
