Giveway won by absent user

Hi all,

I set up a giveaway that lasted 24 hours. I followed the link to check the player who won, hopeful that he would leave me good feedback.

I found he hasn't used the site in 3 months.

How does that work?

Hi, I would give the user 7 days to leave feedback to see if he or she will do so. Then I would take it from there. Still a possibility that it wil be corrected.

The system isnt the best atm, i've gotten 2 neg feedback so far from users that claimed the game and now have it in their steam library but the only thing support said i could do is contact the user who knowingy put down a neg for a key they used. Definitey won't be doing anymore giveaways for lvl 0s

How does a player who hasn't logged in for 3 months take part and win a 24 hour giveaway?

Update : Hmm his profile now shows giveway activity including recent giveway entries. This wasn't visible earlier so I'm less concerned now.

the most problematic parts are winners that are only joining the indie gala giveaway hypes, decided to enter daily giveaway from another players. and then poof. i even go to their profile to remind them. Yes, they are online and in game. but just ignored it. this cancerous players should be banned, or only people with certain time recorded activities and customers should be allowed to participate.

How long has it been since your giveaways ended? Your personal page says your first created giveaway date was only 05 May 2017. Even if you only made them last for a day or three, that's not much time to expect someone to sign in to see they won and then to rate them already. Please have a minimal amount of patience.

The last login is for the forum and not the actual site. In other words, You can visit the giveaways section and it does not count as logging into the forum.
