Has anyone here won any giveaways?

I'm starting to suspect that bots win all the giveaways because I have entered in giveaways every day for several months aiming at giveaways with low entry numbers, are giveaways a bust or has anyone else won anything?

I've won several, but before that I'd been entering for over half a year without any luck. And I'm definitely not a bot, beep-boop, fellow human
Also I've talked to several of my winners, when my key turned out to be used, so I can somewhat vouch that there's more than one human in giveaways.

In 7 months I won Lichdome Battlemage and Knightshift , have no idea how much giveaways I entered so far, probably over 300...

I've been participating for about a month and was able to get 5 within first 2 weeks, all carefully picked (less than 100 enters) just to reinvest and get my level up: 4 Bomber crew and 1 Ice Bastion DLC. Since then though I've only got 1 Fallen Empires, it seems to be getting harder.

I've been a member for around two years and I won 39 giveaways (36 working keys and 3 used/fake keys). Almost all of the games that I've won (90%) are really REALLY bad games, with the worst reviews and borderline unplayable. I never got any game that I really wanted or some triple A title. Last month (January 2021) I won 5 games! But, all of them were crap and one fake key. All of the keys that I won lately were level 2 or 3 and had less then 100 entries per game, sometimes around 20-25.
This site is full of bots, for sure, no doubt about that. Some users have multiple accounts and that helps them to level up more quickly. They go to sites with giveaways, launch their bots and take all of the keys, than they come back here and give all those keys to level up. Then on higher levels they have better chances for winning games, and if they score some good valuable game they sell it on e-bay or some other site.

Thanks for your thorough response! Sounds like it's not even worth the effort entering in these giveaways until indiegala does something drastic to try and stop bots from entering.

I've been there for one year, and won 19 keys (including 1 dupe and a beta key revoked since).

When you say bots, in the end i think it's humans using bots/multi-accounts, so you might get a response if you reach for them.

I'm kinda new to this site, and I was just checking out these message boards for the first time yesterday. I too was wondering how common it is to win a giveaway, so this post was one of the first I read. Flash forward a day later, and it looks like you won my giveaway, haha. Congrats! I'm still waiting for my first win, although it's only been a week or two since I started joining giveaways on a daily basis.

first of all , congrats on winning that game , and second , apparently that game is very controversial , so feel free to share your experience with the game , I hope you like it .

Hey, I won that game on stemgifts two weeks ago. I finished it in one sitting. It's far from crap, but I didn't like it that much. But hey, free is free

Been a Member since July 2016 & now lvl 9. I have Won 1,073 Games, i have never used a Bot and dont even know how to.

We are actively fighting this kind of behaviors starting from this month.
We already banned thousands of accounts and will monitor the evolution of our measures.

Just to be clear, I'm not blaming anything on the administration of IndieGala. The bots are the new plague and they infested the internet as a whole. They are taking all of the keys from sites that have game giveaways.
I appreciate everything that you've been doing to make this site a better place and I wish you luck in future battles.

While I very much appreciate the effort, make absolutely no mistake that I AM GRATEFUL that you're actively doing something to make things better, you did ban at least one account that wasn't a bot. It's been resolved, so don't worry about that.
Again, thank you for trying to make the site better. I still have dozens of spare keys but I stopped putting them up because of bot activity: it just didn't feel worth it to try going up levels.
