How do giveaways generate points?

I may be making this more complicated than it truly is.

So when you go to generate the giveaway, the form figures out how many IC the game will cost and then the experience points it would give you. Do number of people who enter matter? Does the level of the giveaway matter? Or is it just a flat "you get this much experience, period"?

With as many giveaways as I've already done you'd think I would know already, but it occurs to me I'm not sure.

It's a flat number as described during the giveaway creation process; level and number of entries do not matter.

its based on the game irrespective of level or number of people who enter. The xp does vary if the game has been given out a lot or if its a guaranteed game or not.

So there's no reason to not give games out to a higher level, say, even if it means less people enter, because that doesn't affect the experience owned.
