Hi there,

I'm not really one to give away codes, but I was wondering, if I was to create a giveaway, do the IndieGala coins go to the giveaway creator or fall out of existence?

Just wondering =)

It's just some way of controlling/limiting entries - without that people (well, not all but many) would enter all and every giveaway regardless of what games there are or any other considerations - just because they can and it's free.

Considering the maximum amount of coins we can hold is 240, along with the fact that it regenerates completely in 24 hours, earning additional coins via created giveaways is pretty pointless. That said, there should be some form of reward for creating giveaways besides experience.

Something may be implemented in the future, but for now the giveaways as a whole are still being worked out.

Think of the coins more like tickets, and you spend X amount of them to enter a giveaway; at which time they are destroyed. Awarding points to the creator was a system that was tried and really did not work that well.

As far as only gettign exp, eventually the people abusing the system will be weeded out and the system will be tweaked to make levels much more important/useful.

Could make it something like increased level makes the max amount of coins increase, small change but beneficial
