I find it really weird you can get that message on the site but it considers the key invalid instead of duplicate when trying to register it.

How did you look it up by key itself in steam db?

So i won't make the same mistake twice.
i actually dont remember much,i did it last year afterall.i think i first login my steam account to steam db

it turns out if a person already has this game, then in the browser he will also see the answer with the name of the game, I think
Yeah but in this case i didn't, I just didn't want someone to keep posted bad keys without knowing it, if they came from somewhere a tad less legit, ya know?

I did actually read that forum myself and could never figure out why I couldn't see the name of games, thought I did something wrong, I must have missed the fact you needed to own it.

Never been able to get a key to show me what game before registering, I tried on ever device and format of browser I have.

Maybe they changed it, maybe I messed up how its done...idk. Forum may have been old.
