If you entered that into your browser (the "JavaScript:" portion disappears) but you retype it and the game was free activation.

When you see someone post that or one that say !asf(####), the same code works with javascript:

Auto activation.

Don't feel bad its confusing as shit...just trying to help you for ext time my friend (y)
Yeah, I'm not getting this, tbh. Just woke up too.

(The key shows up as a normal retail key in my activation list; can't remove it like you can with the free ones)

In your browser while on a steam page or activate product page (signed in), put that code in your URL address bar. You'll notice
javascript:

Vanishes...retype that part and send it as a URL (click enter), it should say "undefined was added to your library"

Free game added.

Yeah, managed to do it. It said "undefined ...", but I don't see anything new in the product list.
