I agree that he shouldn't create giveaways for non-Steam games but why are we giving him grief over this while others who openly abuse fake $200 Russian "games" and brag about how easy it is to level up are embraced with open arms???

You're conveniently glossing over the 1599 points for DbD. And that other guy was my first blacklist entry here.

I'm glossing over it because it's the exception, not the norm. His other three giveaways were all 1iS. A single 16iS giveaway doesn't constitutes a pattern of abuse. Not saying it's justified, but there are far, far worse cheaters out there who don't get heckled and treated like scum, as they should be.

Can we agree that it is still morally wrong to deliberately mislead people and try to cheat the system like that, no matter how big or small the gain? What's the problem with adressing that? The "pattern of abuse" was at least developing since it also wasn't the first time they were doing something like that. Better to stop it early. I didn't even blacklist the guy, unlike I did with your primary target. And I didn't call for "bans" either. Also: did you get the impression that they were realizing and acknowledging their wrong behaviour? I didn't thus far. Why defend them?

Go look at PAX's early history on the forum. He was screaming "give! give! GIVE!!" at every opportunity. He still does, but he learned to mask his greed and fool people by dumping huge quantities of crap games that cost him nothing.
