After 30 mins I came back and still locked to that "someone".. Just how long does GOG lock a code for any particular person? Half a day? Maybe a lock bot is doing something to prevent others from touching the code

From a couple past experience redeeming codes on GOG if code is first redeemed it will go to a page that tells you the game name and to proceed if you wish to claim it and if it has been redeemed it will say The code was already used. So technically it is still open for grabs just that someone locked it and wishes to see the world burn?

You can try the used codes ratsy posted before here. The Deadlight: Director's Cut has all been redeemed I believe so you should see The code was already used
