There's no way to redeem a GOG key if you already own the game.

There is no such thing as redeeming GOG games, you BUY a game. Even if it's at $0 (during GOG mass giveaways, for example), that's a game PURCHASE, not game redemption, not key redemption. And yes, you can purchase a game multiple times as gifts, even if you already have it registered to your account; but that's beside the question which was asked.

I was sure that it was possible some time ago. Maybe they changed it, maybe I was wrong. Sorry.

Yes eox1, I just tried it and it’s terrible. There is a difference between a bad game and a broken one. This one is both.

Edit: I actually mistook it for another game called "God's Trigger", so I asked for it

I see where the confusion lies; one of the playable characters from "God’s Trigger" (Judy) uses her chain as a weapon.

I tried it again with Edna that's was for sure gone by now. "This code is currently being redeemed by someone. " So it doesn't have a message that it has been redeemed. But I asked because when you add a discount code in your account, if you don't click "cancel" it leaves it applied and can't be redeemed by someone else until you do click "cancel". But I don't think this applies to the games. That was my question
