Literally went into this for about 5 - 10 minutes and had to come here.
1) Don't force people to use full screen, make it useable in the smaller window and change the font to something readable in both states.
2) Single click actions, allow button hold to repeat action. This shouldn't turn into a clicker game.
3) Tents don't break after you use them. If it was just the once to show how a possible wear and tear machanic also works on buildings, that's fine. But not after every use.

I may wait an update or two before I retry it. Can't recommend it to anyone in it's current state just from the start.

Has potential.

1-Sleeping should fast forward time unless you intend to make this game an mmo2-I had to guess where you placed the forge. Some better tool tips should be in order or make it a quest to place it.

no trees or rocks

Same thing happened to me on Firefox / Mac. The land got populated properly after the 3rd game attempt.

Having fun with this!
Noticed 2 issues, hope to help you resolve:
  • After finishing the "Healthy Flora" quest, I ended up doing a bunch of stuff in the farm. Every time I left and came back to the farm screen (whether to market or to house or wild zones), the quest would complete again as soon as I picked up an item or did something in the room. I would get x5 base potions and another life potion scroll. The bird would also fly in and give me another message. This happened about 5 times. Closing the window and restarting it fixed.
  • I tried to purchase too many seed bags from the merchant, and it didn't add them to my inventory... But now I can't actually purchase the last 3 seed bags (not sure what they are, as there are no hover tooltips). I can add them to the "purchase" area and complete the transaction (even pay money for them), but they still don't show up in my inventory. Closing the window and restarting did not fix (Firefox/Mac). Have not tried restarting browser or machine.
Additional idea:
  • The only way to add things to the chest in the house currently is through your low bar inventory. Would be nice to have open the backpack and the chest together, to move things between them.
Cheers.

A few seconds in and I noticed that it only support QWERTY keyboards and there is no option to change for those who own another type of keyboard.

It is a good game but I think I found some bugs or issues:
~When I ended the last quest I think the game restarted the "Home sweet home" mission and I couldn't do anything about it just complete it.After I finished the quest the game gave me the next quest "Wild hunt" but I already did that.
~And another one was when I entered a zone the screen instead of black it was white and the game didn't let me do anything.I did take damage but the game didn't save it.I refreshed the page and the game was fine.
I think the bugs happend because I put my tent in the house and the game couldn't make the next quest which I think you need to make a grindstone and put it in the house.I can't remove the tent or I can't right now in game or I just don't know how.

Enjoying the latest update (0.3.6.3)! I think the sleeping pallet is a clever item, makes more sense in breaking than the tent did.

Some things I noticed:
  • I cooked an apple in the bonfire, and it dropped an "undefined" item in my inventory. When I cooked multiple, more filled up my backpack, and did not stack. (Screenshot)
  • I died (fainted) in the wild lands and my stuff dropped. I returned immediately to retrieve it, but it was gone. :(
  • After I died and lost all my tools, I realized how rare saplings are. It takes quite a while to gather enough to make tools! Not bad, makes it an interesting challenge. Maybe they can sometimes drop from chopping trees?
  • I can't dismantle the bonfire. Using the hammer on it has no effect, even though it gives me the option to dismantle it.
  • Looks like I'm still missing the sword recipe in the crafting bar.
  • In this version, my house is totally empty when I built it. Previous version included a bed and a chest (as well as a couple other items that didn't seem useful). That's fine, but can I build a bed? Or do I have to keep sleeping in the tent?
  • Talking to the person at the entrance to the market crashes the game temporarily. I saw this in the browser console (Firefox/Mac):
TypeError: undefined has no properties MedievalleyTest.js:829:288. On a page reload, it worked fine.
  • In the marketplace, somehow I immediately was able to buy 90 onion seeds, but I couldn't tell easily. It charged me the right price and now my farm is going to be full of onions! I think it's because a full stack of "90" just shows "9" (Firefox/Mac).
  • I notice that I can purchase multiple blueprints and multiple potion scrolls. Why would I do that, I only need it once?
  • I can't seem to figure out what to do with the grindstone. Maybe that's not ready yet.

Love the new damage displays in fighting mobs!
  • The olive oil hover recipe in the grindstone menu is missing its icon. The button itself looks correct, as does the item in inventory.
  • If you left-click while walking against the bed to go to sleep, you will continue to hear the sound of walking while you sleep. Same for picking a sapling.
If you're just joining in here, also talk to the townsperson at the well every time. They give you helpful tips!

Welcome to the new forum! :D

A new Feudalife update will be online soon, version 0.3.7.1 precisely. As usual, you can check the changelog here.
From now on all the support will be continued here. Messages are gradually being copied from the old forums to this one, so please hold on if something is still off or missing!

Playing on 0.3.7.0, I've discovered a few things.
- Just a minor oversight, the link from the main menu to feedback needs updating. It still goes back to the old feedback thread.
- Exploit in shops/merchants where items can be sold repeatedly for infinite amount of gold. Items can be dropped from the hotbar to the floor while trade is in progress and selling said item now will not cause it to despawn, item can be picked up afterwards and resold again.
- Missing graphics on character wearing robes when interacting with objects while facing northwards or southwards.
- Gamebreaking bug that will corrupt saves. An undefined item appears as a purchasable item when all blueprints are bought from merchant, attempting to leave the market with said item in the inventory will cause the game to crash/black screen. Reloading it will reveal that all entities in the farm area have been removed (all existing crops, trees, structures will despawn, leaving just a barren plot of land behind).

Yep, still a lot of work needs to be done. It's a good game and all but I'd suggest not having the autosave as a permanently turned on feature. Second playthrough halted right here.

Thanks for the feedback! Version 0.3.7.1 was online literally a few minutes after you posted, by the way.

I can confirm all the bugs you found and some new critical ones too. We updated the IDE during the passage from 0.3.7.0 to 0.3.7.1 and looks it was a terrible idea since there are crashes and problems where there weren't before. Looking at the changelog the update was supposed to cover only IDE-related issues and not game breaking changes. I'll evaluate if it's the case to try and fix all that, or simply revert to the previous IDE version (most probably the best idea). I will still look into all these issues anyways!

EDIT: about the autosave, it's important to have but I realize it can be a pain now that the game is still riddled with bugs. I'll talk this with the designer!
