I'm sad to report the cars in this are practically unsteerable. Sometimes pressing left or right will barely turn the car at all; other times the car will keep swerving heavily to one side or the other for a while after I let go of the key. In general I spent more time trying to get out of facing directly into walls than I did making steady forwards progress.
