I've been collecting these games for years, and there's been no sign of malware. I'm not sure what motivated this post, but it seems to be a false insinuation.

The game triggers antivirus software that says there is a trojan in the game files, in the cache. It has way too high of a detection rate to be trusted like all the others I've gotten so far, as many others are reporting similar results when they checked it too. (sorry, I cannot get the text editor to turn off block quotes after I've used them once in my comment, maybe because I'm using mobile to post this).

You should also take into consideration that 3rd party antivirus software is all notorious for false alerts. He could be wrongly assuming some file extension and name to be something it isn't.

There is no malware harmful in that batch of times, I tested it. If I can a masters in comp science.

Won't even let me "claim", says blocked by security services in both using VM/KVM Linux, windows, & Android 13 (VM/signed OEM & just a stripped copy built for debug) all same result, come to find there's no signed sigs coming from the sight & my over secure nw is not even wanting me to claim the damn thing? Lol.. can I get a pm from a dev?

There isn't any malware idiot quit PC gaming since you clearly don't understand it.

Calling someone an idiot for being cautious with their PC is laughable. Some like to err on the side of caution because it's not worth the risk, however small, to deal with any kind of virus or malware infection.

Almost a third of the engines (22/70) on virustotal reporting it as malware is more worrying than the typical false positive rate of 2 or 3 no-name engines. And the thing you don't seem to understand about PC gaming is there are plenty of alternatives to play instead of this apparent shovelware. Judging by the gameplay video, we're not missing out by skipping Robot Robert.
