You wrote in your neg feedback that it was not the correct key, that steam said you had the game but you do not have this game.
My source is a direct email from the dev listing 2 keys. One for a DLC and one for this game. This key was listed as this game in the email.
I've tried to activate it myself and I already have it as well dispite me not owning this game either. I also tried the other key from that email. Its been activated.
I checked the activation concole to see what steam thinks the key is for and I see the dev did give me two valid keys but it was reversed in the email so I got them swapped in the two Giveaways I did for them. Both GAs got marked bad as both had the switched key in it.
This is unfortuate as I can't fix it as the key for this game got used.
Not sure if you will see this but I figured I'd write it out now that I know what happened, In this case the neg marks are valid. Have a good day.
