This is a prototype, I didn't see any restrictions on the games that can be added.
Why not just pass by?

Is it difficult to add game pad support? I am a longtime console player and prefer using a game pad for action games.

I think this game will remain in the prototype stage for now, at least I have no plans for it.
But adding gamepad support is not difficult.
