Edit 2: I've sent email to support@indiegala.com about 9 days ago, and got reply form indiegala support saying that the indiegala programmer will be informed with this matter.

Since it hasn't been fixed. I thought if cheating is allowed in indiegala Giveaway system, at least anyone should be able to do it instead of small portion of users exploiting it to get high level.

Example 1:
Enforcer. 10 coins. About 1000 EXP.
https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/detail/101457
Used http://store.steampowered.com/sub/49122 this address when creating giveaway.

Example 2:
Enforcer. 8 coins. About 800 EXP.
https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/detail/100595
Used http://store.steampowered.com/agecheck/app/318220/ this address when creating giveaway.

How is it possible that same game giving different EXP? In this case, it is only about 200 EXP difference, but I've seen the cases where cheating give you about 4 times more EXP. Do you see that the first guy used sub address and second guy used app address?
The first guy is exploiting the system. The second guy is normal user.

This is how to exploit.
I haven't and won't use this exploit. And I am not making giveaways anymore. Why would I giveaway my games for cheat when others are cheating their way up?

Edit: I've deleted the original post because it could encourage more people to cheat by telling them how.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some users are exploiting loopholes to get unfairly high experience points.
I've already contacted indiegala support.
Hope indiegala fixes this issue soon.

I read your post and I'm thinking... come on dude, get a life!
So you've been reading all the posts here, and then you also took the time to write a presumpuous and disparaging remark. Sounds like you're living life to the fullest, unlike the rest of us!

Most people here are posting constructive advices on how the giveaway section can be improved, telling them to get a life is an exact counter to the betterment of this site. Considering that you have yet to create a giveaway of your own, I'll highly recommend you to do so.

As for abusing the experience system, is it possible to allow the "app link on Steam store" while blocking any other links? If that is not possible then it is probably best to create some sort of blacklist for sub links that's being abused. Not a perfect solution but a workable one for the duration.

The way it should be is the same as the old galagiveaways, where subs are not allowed to be entered without a special permission. I will forward this to the web team to disable subs. Hopefully soon they will give us the tools back to block games from even being given away. IE: any game that was massively given away, alpha/betas, etc.

Here's a fun example of this in practice:
https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/detail/104962 - Standard "beta" key for 5 IC
https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/detail/105005 - "Bundle" that has only that one game in it, and goes for 12 IC

Note it is given away by the same person. There is a point about 3 hours ago at the time of writing this post where this one game apparently started getting given away, because you don't see it before now, but it floods the giveaways section afterwards, and there is a point where the people spamming this game clearly realize an exploit exists, because at that exact moment, it goes from all being the beta game to all being the exploit that is worth 2.5 times as many giveaway points.

the glitch should have been fixed. If you find it still works let us know and email support as well.

Actually, it looks like it still works, it just makes the contests have an image.

Somone going by "Bella" - https://www.indiegala.com/trades/user/76a484b0512111e6b7de6d3475e4e013 - (probably a disposable sockpuppet, it has no activities outside of giveaways starting a week ago,) has been putting up a bunch of different games exploiting this in the last few minutes.

For example: Street Racing Syndicate - https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/detail/106544 actually links to a bundle - http://store.steampowered.com/sub/41177
Lead and Gold - https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/detail/106523 - leads to the four-pack bundle - http://store.steampowered.com/sub/66967
Forbidden Planet - https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/detail/106485 - leads to http://store.steampowered.com/sub/90680
Hacker Evolution - https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/detail/106497 - leads to the "hacker complete bundle" - http://store.steampowered.com/app/70100/

All of these were set up less than ten minutes ago, which is after your post. (Although I'll be emailing this, as well...)

It seems like "Bella" doesn't do anything BUT this kind of giveaway. I'd presume it's a sockpuppet account dedicated to keeping any blowback from this technique confined to the sockpuppet. A lot of the games are usually legitimate, as opposed to your normal spam games, so I guess the real account is specifically trading for games vulnerable to this technique.
