won a GA but link goes to steam mainpage

Dear All,
I am wondering how can someone create a GA for a game that is not listed on Steam ? You are supposed to give the link of the steam homepage for that game, isnt it ?
for instance I just won Torch Cave 2 but the link provided leads to steam main page and a search gives no result jQuery1112026988544650735524_1529519512230
so how can this work ?

Hi,

Torch Cave 2 used to be on the Steam Store and is a valid Steam game (I have it in my Steam library).

Some games are removed from the Steam Store over time for several different reasons, for example: expired licensing, defunct developer/publisher, removal by Valve, etc.

Keys for these games can still be activated if they're valid (i.e. not activated by someone else or not revoked by a "mean" developer).
