XP needed to raise user level

Hello everyone !

I'm new to Indiegala. I already won two giveaways, which I'm really glad about/thankful for. I had a look at higher levels giveaways today, and I'm thinking about trying to raise my level to enter them.
Is it a violation of IG rules to publicly say how many XP you need to get to the next level ? Because I haven't found any information about that.

If it is not, could somebody tell me how many I need to get to LV1 ? I have already found out how to evaluate XP income for a given game, but I still don't know the precise amount I need to get.

Thanks in advance.

You earn XP by giving away games. If they are games bought from indiegala, the exp is guarenteed. If it's a game bought outside the site, you have to wait for user feedback to get the exp.

Also, if the game is off site, make sure that they are games with keys you have NOT already activated on Steam. :)

It's 5K to level 1, 10K to level 2, 20K to level 3, 40K to level 4, 80K to level 5, etc... This is total experience to each level, as it doesn't restart from 0 every time you level up.
If you give away games bought on IG, it is "guaranteed" and you get 20% more experience as soon as it ends. For keys you get elsewhere you have to wait for the winner to give you a thumbs up before you get the experience, or wait a few days (not sure how many) until IG grants it positive feedback automatically.

Yes, you should get the experience eventually if the winner doesn't give you feedback.
As I said, I ddon't know how long that takes, but I think it's no longer than 1 week. If you haven't gotten anything by then, you may contact IG support, I guess.

I'm level 1, and I see the only reason I may want to be at a higher level is because some users set the minimum level to 3 or 4.. What is frustrating is that I've put up games for giveaways, right now maybe shy of 200 dollars worth of games.. and I'm still not level 2. Kind of seems it's major risk>reward, considering the chance of winning once I've invested so much to MAYBE win a AAA title... I feel like the XP required should be cut down a great deal.

This is almost a 5 year old thread. Like why comment here?
You have received feedback on 15 giveaways and need 806 points to reach level 2. The picture shows like 24 giveaways. You will be level 2 anyway once those ends.
Also believe me. Giving away these games on a site like indiegala on level 0,1 is an overkill. It's not worth it. It's major risk with 0 reward. Most of the higher levels users are just people who give away games from feudalife challenge.
There are only few generous users like you who give away some bundled games or similar. If you want any sort of reward, it's better to join steamgifts, join a group there where you have to 1 good giveaway a month and get to participate in good giveaways.
I am level 6 & the highest priced game I have won is Shadowrun return which was ironically a level 0 giveaway.
Again, it's your decision. But there are simply many multi account users for normal people to have a chance at winning a decent game even at higher level.

It's on topic, and the thread hadn't been stagnant for 5 years when I commented, better to piggy back on the topic of new users rather than start my own thread just dogging on the site. The amount of xp required just to level up on a site heavily dominated by bots with no repercussions ( i'm realizing from some insightful users), I'm gonna spend my time on a better site. Congrats on shadow warrior 2 I guess. Ironically, I got that for free from GOG before this thread existed XD.
