Welcome to the giveaway of Facerig Studio for Individual VTubers w/Live2D. I hope you enjoy it.
I was being somewhat facetious here... there is of course no facility to check a key other than redeeming it... otherwise silly boys would spend all day trying key numbers to find free keys.oh!Why don't Indiegala stop this then?Btw, how do you test keys without actually using them?
if it's a DLC, yes there is a way to check the key without using it. 2 methods here Feudalife challenge BAD/FAULTY/NOT-WORKING/INVALID keys masterpost (error message: this product code was already activated by a different account)I was being somewhat facetious here... there is of course no facility to check a key other than redeeming it... otherwise silly boys would spend all day trying key numbers to find free keys.
Really? It all seems like too much work for me... if Indiegala don't care enough to do anything about it I don't see why I should put myself out too much.
Well, as the winner of that giveaway, you're the only one who can get any sort of penalizing process started, by checking what you won properly and leaving accurate feedback. If anybody should be penalised for anything it should be the original creator of the key.
you're deliberately missing the point here - the point is NOT if it was purchased at RRP or Steam prices, the point is that it's fake. You say the original creator whom you won the key from should be punished and not you, yet you refuse to do a very simple and very safe check through either Chrome or Mozilla by just pressing F12 (the process is the same for both, just the layout is different) to see for yourself that you won a bogus key and probably left positive feedback on a bogus key and then created a giveaway for a bogus key. And since you're aware that nobody would be giving away 400 USD software at RRP, the least you could have done was check price comparison sites to see that historical low for this DLC was 317 USD and figure out that it's most likely fake.As for the $400 giveaway... if you think any of the legit giveaways here were purchased at RRP or even Steam prices then I think it may be you who are a little naive!
So now you are on a public forum advocating installation of random browser add-ons... cos thats safe isn't it! And then you'll be all surprised when you notice your bank account has been emptied!!...
So yes, safely clicking things (and only have the word of a sketchy forum that this wont use the key) then peeking at the callback details ... is too much work for a free giveaway.
...
And I don't appreciate the insult - however passive-aggressive it may be.
I do enjoy spirited discussion... but when it begins to slip to the depths of insults I'm out - I assure you, you would not insult me to my face.
Entering a raffle which you know is a scam for the express purpose of perpetuating that scam doesn't seem very "good faith" to me.I won this key in good faith... I only tried to win it in order to offer it again and gain more points in order to increase my level.

Let me quote exactly what was said:We have no real indication that Uwain knew, that those giveaways were fake
So by their own reasoning, either they knew that it was a scam or they were just as naive as everyone they're trying to insult. See, I setup a "trap", pointing out that they were self-insulting either way. But they're not coming back, so it doesn't matter. As for the $400 giveaway... if you think any of the legit giveaways here were purchased at RRP or even Steam prices then I think it may be you who are a little naive!
I don't see that as admission of anything. In that quote they're trying to argue against the notion that this is an "impossible" 400$ worth freebie, by comparing it to the majority of real giveaways that indeed were not bought at full price, but rather come from various mass giveaways (like Steelseries, Alienware, Humble, Feudalife) and bundle leftovers. So by their own reasoning, either they knew that it was a scam or they were just as naive as everyone
